Sounds like the end is near.
Aqours Pirates Desire sounds like the better song
Both kind of suck, Aqours pirates desire is a bit better. You's voice in APD is kind of weird though.
B-sides are usually better than the main track when it comes to Love Live.
Not the best.
Hopefully soon, but knowing current management they will probably release something called "Amazing End" and this shit will still go on.
Thank you friends was an end flag but here we are.
That's not even mentioning the subunit songs 'sakura bye bye', 'it's graduation isn't it?' and 'guilty farewell party'
I love You!
Don't you have anything better to do?
Not a fan of this flavor of EDM, but it's good to see that Aqours is capable of varying their style without losing their polish (it should help in expanding their audience, at least).
μ's had dabbled with more genres but their quality was all over the place (in fairness this experimentalism at the expense of QC was mostly back when they were still unknown), and ultimately their best songs were standard J-pop fare or close to it.
I didn't expect it and it's something new and different so I can appreciate it. I do like it at a first couple listens I actually prefer the first one but I'll see how I feel in the future. 6th live huh, hmmm I'm not actually sure this will be the last live. It does look like an odd aesthetic to go with but so were trains, I look forward to what comes out of this.
This definitely wont be the last live or they would have marketed it as such.
Yeah, but a part of my mind just's niggling with the expectation of it or at least a surprise reveal or something. No evidence for it but it's getting me a little nervous. I like Aqours but I also want it to end at some point and muse ended at the 6th live so it feels like a timer got set. Eh, youtube.com
>or they would have marketed it as such.
Muse's 6th Live wasn't "Final" until few months later either. In all honestly, I do hope this is their penultimate Live. Next year we will get full Hello cast and then hopefully Last Aqours Live.
It was announced that the 6th live would be the end of muse in the december of 2015 when the live was in April 2016, we'd know by now if this was the end.
A few days ago they announced they're "renewing" the radio show again and there's 2020 club subscription that's always a year long, so they have one year more for sure. But the 7th one will probably be the last, I don't think they will continue when the real 3rd gen anime starts.
>muse ended at the 6th live so it feels like a timer got set
As a μ'sfag, the last thing Aqours should be doing is blindly retracting their path.
They even explicitly addressed this in the anime, which I'm starting to believe is essentially a highly highly fictionalized biopic of the real groups. Also Aqours doesn't conclusively disband by the end of their movie like μ's did.
>I don't think they will continue when the real 3rd gen anime starts.
I'll play devil's advocate here: why not?
I already miss them.
>why not?
Because if Muse was given the cold shoulder in favor of newcomers so should akua. It's funny how there were aquafags who hated the idea of Mu's cameos because apparently they would've overshadowed them. Now Aqua already killed any chances of Nijis becoming something and there are still people who insist that having both now experienced Aqua and inexperienced 3rd gen is a viable idea for promotion.
>Now Aqua already killed any chances of Nijis becoming something
Oh wow, nijifags already found a legendary way to cope about their shit.
I thought Aquafags were peace loving all generation idolizing puritans. What the fuck?
I'm a lovelive fag and niiji is a shit stain on the whole franchise.
In what way?
>I'm a lovelive fag and niiji is a shit stain on the whole franchise.
This but aqwhores.
Probably because they stole akua's limelight in the twilight of their lifespan.
In every way. Everything about them is shit.
Their "not a group" concept is shit and doesn't work at all. Their rare group songs are shit and their live performances of them are also shit because they don't train together much. Their solos are hit and miss, it's okay, but then you don't care about half of their live because it miss. And their lives are shit because of that.
The way they handled them was absolutely horrendous with them being pushed down your throat for months before they produced a single song, then the game got delayed and they were hanging pointlessly for another year. And now they're in some really retarded spot because the actual new gen is coming.
All stars and everything about the game is just shit, no comments about it.
Actual in-universe nijigasaki is also shit because of the self-insert mary sue character doing literally everything, (you) ruin every bit of potential they had because it's all about (you).
Aquafags became more aggressive now that their shit copy paste group is on its death bed.
Not an argument.
All these complaints about lives were matched by aqours in their first live. Most of their songs were shit and the performances weren't particularly great, some still aren't.
Wasn't my intention. Just pointing out your hypocrisy and double standards.
No it wasn't. Nijigasaki first live is literally the worst live we ever had, it even worse than aqours sub-unit carnival that was also hot trash. I won't say anything about the muse early lives, because it was a different time and a different franchise back then.
Shifting the blame on Muse now are we?
Love live fest was way worse.
Because it was tainted by aqwhores having the most stage time.
You tell em user Aquours are really good performers youtube.com
