The entire point of his fight was that there's no human Nen ability that can stop Meruem but a cheap mass produced bomb could. And yet the double digit IQ EOPs still think that Blaise could stop him with a kiss or Knov could OHKO him.
Why is there such a huge discrepancy in the HxH fanbase between the creme la creme (who have good taste in characters, story arcs and understand Nen) and the hoi polloi (who "like" the series for the wrong reasons, Chrollo, and who don't understand Nen)?
I really wish the latter would just leave, but as HxH grows popular, they continue to increase in numbers and start to infest our scholarly den more and more.

Now imagine if you teleport someone's feet into the room. He wouldn't be able to walk, would he? Scream is different than your star trek pic. But of course Meruem easily kills Knov, this isn't up for debate. Netero, the guy who can speedblitz him is the best man for the job.

Literally vice versa you fucking reddit scum

Every single arc except the shitty one ends in an anti-climax. It's hard to look forward to the ending of the Succesion War when the conflict will likely just dissolve in a non-chalant manner.
Evan Russell
Alright hunters, tell me your Nen type and your hatsu.
Lincoln Gutierrez
Don't get why retards consider arcs that don't end in Gon punching someone anticlimactic.
Nicholas Cooper
>cream is different than your star trek pic It's the same principle, it teleports anything between his hands. If only a part of a person is between his hands, we know how that goes. keep seething
>The entire point of his fight was that there's no human Nen ability that can stop Meruem Certainly not a straightforward one like Netero's
Dylan Howard
We don't know that. Maybe sufficiently tough materials / opponents can "keep scream open".

It's hilarious how you think repeating this shit over and over again will make it true.
Knov scream ability was only ever used on a Nenless worker ant. At no point in the story did they think about using it on Meruem. Such an insanely powerful ability could never be developed by Knov. Knov knows it could never even work on Killua and Gon, much less the fucking Royal Guard or the King. Since it's purely a CONJURATION ability (no Transmuter/Enhancer part in it) it conjures a portal which opens and then quickly closes. The inside may be sharp, but it's about as lethal as getting your head stuck in the elevator door. If Knov were to use it on a Nen enhanced user, it probably wouldn't be strong to close. They could force it open and get out. Reminder, this is a CONJURATION ability, so the portal is a real thing others can interact with.
The narrative is literally that no matter what humanity's champions did, the only out to Meruem was cheating. Not your redditcanon Meleoron+Knov combo. Period. If Knov tried Scream on Meruem, he'd tank it. If Knov tried to lock Meruem in Rafflessia Hotel, he'd get out. Period. Knov cannot beat Meruem in combat or the narrative doesn't work.
ALL Hunterch/a/ds who read the manga and know how Nen works understand as much. Only you absolute Redditor crossies (Herocuck Miriopatty aka Chrollolet) think Scream can OHKO everything, despite this being inconsistent with Nen and with the narrative.
Go back to your containment threads, Herocuck Redditor Miriopatty aka Chrollolet. You don't belong here. You never will.
Julian Walker
He is literally a delusional Redditor crossie who has been seething for years that his headcanon is full of holes.

Because these arcs don't have a climax, simple as that. The end of Hunter Exam is an off-screen event giving Gon his hunter license, the end of the Killua "Rescue" arc is Killua being free to go anyway, the end of Yorkshin ends with Chrolo and Hisoka postponing their match, etc. Yes, these arcs have climactic moments within them, but they usually only work as climaxes to maybe one of the arc's side plot lines or come at weird time frames, while disregarding a lot of setup and other subplots. Togashi's good at coming up with stories, but he kinda sucks at telling them.
John Rogers
>reminder that there is actual adults in this world that have been making threads for 10 years about a kid's manga and are still arguing over fictionnal power levels instead of doing anything productive You are definitely supposed to grow out of shounen, the one that didn't are definitely mentally retarded
>wahh we weren't shown muh fights >wahh Kurapika only took out 2 members of one of the most dangerous organisations in the world >wahh Meruem's ultimate fate was to play a fucking board game with a blind little girl
Those incredible moments of organic storytelling are what make HxH such a masterpiece. In nearly all of these arcs we get multiple climaxes to multiple subplots in this story. Togashi's work is not for brainlets who genuinely believe all stories should follow the cliche final battle formula with some designated bad guy.
Your first mistake was thinking these arcs are even strictly apart from each other, as they all involve certain subplots that extend through multiple arcs but only truly come to light at a fitting moment. Case in point, Illumi's twisted influence in Killua.
Your second mistake is thinking climax means end of each arc. The Chimera Ant arc has 4 or 5 different moments that brought catharsis to the average viewer (who's mind isn't conditioned by the same old shit). The initial Palace Invasion, Gon's breakdown in front of Killua and Pitou, Netero vs Meruem, Gon killing Pitou, Meruem remembering Komugi. So many more smaller climaxes occur in between all these things and still you will complain it didn't end with a generic clash between Luffy and Frieza.
>Because these arcs don't have a climax, simple as that. Well if you keep expecting an arc to end on the climax and not the falling action and resolution no wonder.
>instead of doing anything productive How productive do you think the guy who posts on a taiwanese basket weaving board to berate people talking about children's comics is?
