Barakamon is wonderful, and is easily one of my favorite anime. It's just a shame that volume 18 of the manga felt so rushed. So many plot points were left unresolved or outright ignored, others were hurriedly wrapped up, and the biggest part of the previous few volumes Handa quitting the Kawafujis and opening his own school was completely rolled back, making that entire arc pointless. I'm not sure if the series was canned or if the author just didn't want to do it anymore, but it deserved a better conclusion.
