Supernova Super Saiyan is a mutated version of the Blaze Form (Blaze Goku). Trunks, Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Tarble achieve this state. This form uses a lot of power, but is useful. The form's temperature is:

It would have been cooler if it wasn't just a stat buff, but gave him cool hollow powers. Also that every fight he used it in ended with ichigo getting his shit kicked in really took away from it's cool factor. Then it was basically abandoned altogether after the ulquiorra fight. Still such a shame that in a world with so many cool powers the mc relied only on flash step and getsuga tensho. Seriously, why do they do that with shonen? This one surprisingly isn't unique to kubo. Just look at toriko. Compare his moveset to all the busted abilities midora had. Midora basically had to carry the heroes through the entire final battle because of it.
