Listen user, if I sell the contract tomorrow, the stock will immediately go up 12%. If I hold it any longer, tesla will dump to $400 while I take an afternoon nap. It's a lose/lose

I think covid made everyone way overestimate earnings. Now I expect the others next week to perform similarly. Tomorrow's gonna be another tech dump

Just read an article about Paul Krugman admitting he was wrong about globalization in the 90s when he advocated for it. The article also questioned which was the worse consequence of these actions: losing American jobs and increasing innequality, or inadvertently getting Trump elected kek.
Was Paul Krugman ever right about anything? I remember he said the internet was a fad.
Can't believe the Jews are crashing the NASDAQ just to suppress LINK.

What's scary is that companies beating estimates don't really gain ground after earnings either (I know some are still pre Q2-19 results but nonetheless they are coming out of this pretty well). I took some bets this week and barely made out of some trades. Netflix is showing that crappy results will obliterate the stock price which could push down indexes if we're talking about big companies and risk a major sell-off if some funds are heavy on margin. The next weeks are going to be quite the ride.
