Sorry let me be clearer: As far as I know I was disabled for inactivity after accruing a h&r immediately after joining, not for the the hit and run itself. I just mentioned the h&r to explain why I stopped using it for a good while.

One and the same as when you get a invite, they almost always require you to give the same e-mail as your current account. If you're scared of gmail, use proton mail.

I didn't get an invite, I did the test during an open application period and got in with that email address as the only one ever associated with the account.

Doesn't matter how you got in, if you want to get to other trackers via the hidden forum, you have to use the same e-mail.

But nobody downloads anything after you've downloaded something, so you're stuck seeding stuff for weeks always.

Freeleach is useful precisely because of that. It means you won't lose ratio because of that.
H&R isn't based on how much data you seed, only the time.

Ratio is zero sum without free leech or other mechanisms. So it's necessary to prop up your userbase unless you want to be constantly removing half or more of it.
