I followed the first 6~ chapters but nothing happens. Boring. I guess at least he's a vampire now.

What would be fun is if they use the fact that mirrors used to have silver as a twist. Old vampires couldn't see their reflections because of it, but now that modern mirrors use a different source, vampires can look in mirrors all they like.

This could he used to hide the fact that he's already become a vampire.
