Ugh, OP's image is completely lacking any sort of character. I honestly think it's just bad promotional art, though. The clips form the anime I've seen look a little bit more lively. I'll hesitate to pass judgement until I've seen the anime for myself.

The trailer only showed scenes from Onikakushi. They still haven't said how many episodes it'll be or how many arcs they're covering.

I would assume it's just covering the question arcs and we'll get a separate S2 for the answer arcs? It would be super retarded to not do a full adaptation, especially since this isn't an advertisement for a new VN.

I always thought this was intentional. It added to the show's creepy/uncanny valley horror.

26-episode shows are pretty rare nowadays, but it'd be the perfect amount to adapt the first four arcs.
