>pic semi related
it was bad, but has there been anyshow that actually without a doubt centers around a yandere and it was objectively, no bullshit quaility "good."
Is it possible to center a show around Yanderes?
>it was bad
But it was good
name a better anime
I mean I strongly disagree that it was bad. However it did straddle a lot of lines of taste. For me it worked. I can understand why it wouldn't for a lot of people.
And the ending was.... Ok.
>it was bad
Wrong from the very outset OP
>baby’s first yandere
The only good yandere manga ever is koharu no hibi
The ending was retarded but everything up to that point was enjoyable, from what I remember.
Sugar Happy Life would have been pretty good if the yandere MC had been a male or even a female (male). I didn't hate it, but yuri child abduction doesn't hit the same.
yandere can only go to limited genres
>romcom/comedy
>psychological horrror
>be anime crew
>put yandere{s} as the center of an anime
>???
>[TAX EVASION]
Bro, It's not hard science
Yandere can't ever win romcom either so it's just for chuckles.
Don't forget Death Game though, obviously.
it's because of mirai nikki, if you put a yandere in a death game sypnosis it will be ignored
yandere would only worked if they're part of the harem or the main heroine
My idea is a show centred about Yandere rivals that keel trying to get the guy-of-the-week by any means (except killing) but always fail and scare the guy away. If we include some life-lessons and cram it with comedy it could be decent kids Anime.
I can get behind this.
Childhood was resonating with 1
Adolescence was resonating with 12
Adulthood was resonating with 2
Netoge no Yome
I want more anime where the main heroine isn't a goody two shoes, a heroine with shitty morals or none is far more interesting, it just happens yandere are the only guaranteed type of female character where this is a thing. Well except they almost never actually kill/do real harm and they're only crazy in that they pine after the MC's dick. I want crazy chicks that aren't that kind of crazy
Is she though? She's obsessive, certainly. But I don't remember her ever being violent.
She's also such fine breeding material that no man would ever turn her down, so it's impossible to know how she'd react.
This
>>main heroine is a degenerate who sleeps around and smokes and takes advantage of people
>NO, NOT LIKE THIS! DON’T DO ME IN LIKE THIS!
You know for a fact the only thing that could come out of this is people shitting on the whole series
Sleeping around is admittedly something that it would be tough for Zig Forums, or the Japanese for that matter, to handle. I think most anything else could be handled though.
Ascension was resonating with 9.
Why didn't you like the ending?
Mirai Nikki is the only show that can do it, because it based the whole plot around the yandere
nice hipster opinion
It wasn't bad. It was just... Like everything else, straddling the line between dumb and great, and barely holding it together. It couldn't have done the full "everything turns out all right" ending that so many anime have, but at the same time, the downer ending it seemed like the situation deserved would have been miserable. So it straddled the line as hard as it could. Whether it pulled it off is up to you, but I would have perhaps preferred if it they didn't end up COMPLETELY DESTROYING everyone and everything in Yukki's timeline. The parents and various other people dying should have been consequences enough, without having literally every single character die besides him
Yeah it got nuts towards the end. How was the OVA?
It's mostly just more epilogue with third-timeline characters, with maybe like four minutes of content meaningful to the original pair, but worth seeing because it explains how the fuck the very last thing happened
OVA is kinda good and its nice seeing the diary owners having a normal life in a different timeline, but yea doesnt really fix the shitty ass ending
I haven't watched Mirai Nikki since it aired. I enjoyed it a lot back then as an edgy spastic teenager, I have a feeling if I rewatch it'll just not be my thing.
Spoil me, user: how the fuck does Yuno show up out of nowhere? Power of love? More time travel bullshit? It's not actually the Yuno from the first world?
>mfw no yanderes ever attempted brainwashing their lovers into yanderes so they only have eyes for one another
yeah there are a couple good manga about yanderes you could just adapt those
Remnants of first-timeline Yuno's memories were implanted into third-timeline Yuno, allowing a sort of personality merge that propelled them to reunite with Yuki (note that third-timeline Yuki was already paired off with his own crush, so he has no bond with third-timeline Yuno).
Looking back, Mirai Nikki was pretty nonsensical, but I appreciate it for being the only manga / anime where a yandere is the center stage.
Years later we still don't have any decent content about yanderes.
All of the above, a bit. After Yuno (from the first world) kills herself, Murmur (1) eats the gem containing her memories and powers. The Deus and Murmur from world 3 lock her up in their magical realm. Yukki 2 and Murmur 2 spend 10,000 years in the void of World 2 doing jack shit because he killed everyone he ever cared about. Yuno (3) lives a normal life for years up to the point where the game would have happened before in world 1/2. Yukki 3 hooks up with the glasses chick and they never meet. Yuno 3, through some subconscious communication with Murmur 1, frequently feels like she's forgotten something, despite living a much happier life. However eventually she figures out enough to travel to Deus 3's realm before he dies and attempts to free Murmur 1 to find out what's going on. She finds Murmur 1 in captivity, who having absorbed Yuno 1's memories has changed. She begs Yuno 3 to accept the memories of Yuno 1 so that she can live, even though it would be painful and even cruel to give them to her. Yuno 3 accepts the memories and the powers of Yuno 1, and busts through the walls of time to be with Yukki and make a new universe together.
