I'm starting to think the majority of threads and posts here are by bots. I've been here since 2016, and it just doesn't make sense that this board is consistently slid and dominated by one coin. It wasn't always like this. You can pick any random coin, start a thread, and generally you'll get zero hits... maybe one, maybe two. But there is always like 3 or 4 coins that make up 95% of the board, of which one, is easily a majority... at all times... for two years now. It just doesn't feel organic. Like, how could this board be getting so much traffic in these threads, but virtually none elsewhere... not even fud. And most the other traffic is just some random short blurb by a poster recommending one of the top 3 coins on the board that are already being spammed.
I'd go somewhere else, but I hate reddit and twitter.

another indicator is this: think about how often you get thoughtful responses to your posts... for me its virtually never, if I even get a response at all... and I mostly make thoughtful comments... not just "buy x now" or "x is better than y"
I could post like 10 things, and maybe get 1 response, and it will be loosely related to what I was commenting about. No other board is this way... and no other board is so closely tied to money either.

shilling by bagdumpers is not the issue, its the VOLUME of shilling by bagdumpers and how out it is spammed ad nauseum. Wasn't like this a couple of years ago... sure you had fads and trends. But it was abnormal to see a coin have half the threads for two fucking years straight. I mean when ripple took off it was like 5 threads max at any time for like a week or two. DGB was the worst, but it calmed down after a month.

And I disagree about you disagreeing. It wasn't too gradual to notice. Huge chunk, if not most, of the olderfags simply recognized it and left. It's night and day compared to 4 years ago. At least back then people genuinely cared to educate others on what crypto was and it's uses prior to the great shitcoin pump of 17. Now it's just a cesspool of people shilling shitcoins with no real financial usefulness or utilization to society, and retards gullible enough to fall for the shilling just circlejerking each other and calling anyone with critique a fudder. Just look at Link for example. All of the iron hand hodlers are up 30-40x, the real ones that actually (and stupidly) held onto it for the past 3 years. The stars aligned just right and their dart in the dark became a moonshot, congrats to them I'm happy for them. But you have old holders up 30-40x now, and literally everyone who bought even a month ago are up by a LOT. Everyone is up. And still there is barely anyone pointing out the facts of the matter, that it's going to correct and crash hard because that's the ride of crypto we all signed up for. Whereas 4 years ago you would at least get a good chunk of threads with warnings and educating info attesting to what we all know is going to happen.
