Why Aren't Millennials Buying Houses?

I have $1000 to my name and currently 9k in crypto, and I work in the gig economy
fuck makes you think i want a mortgage

>only a 2% mortgage rate on this $750,000 shack, my friend! Buy it now silly goy!
>house price only go up! Buy now and fund my retirement!

>Classic car

yes goy why dont you put your 150k RR in this cuckshed with obvious water damage and fucking graffiti on the inside, what could go wrong?

Boomers and kikes have pozzed the housing market. Im perfectly content living in my parents basement watching my money pile up in my bank account instead of going to schlomoberg landlord or going some boomers overpriced hovel

I'm basically the same except 5k in the bank and 5k in crypto, work gig jobs on the side but have full time

Don't forget 15K yearly of property tax!

Because I live in the UK and don't want to be attached to this grey shithole

I dunno. Culture-wise, I'd much rather live in small town UK than the US. Pub/football culture seems so comfy. Muslims/southeast Asians are objectively better than nignogs, and the BLM "movement" here is uncanny and erodes everything our country ever stood for.

Also houses are sturdier and better built over there but most seem small and close together. Guess it's a trade-off.

If you are American and don't live in the big 3 cities, you can get married. If neither of you are retarded you and your wife can afford a decent house in a decent neighborhood on an average wage. Any boomer/kike slander hurled at me is cope. It won't be a dream home, you'll commute, and it requires you to be a loveable human being. Many millenials don't believe in marriage, the ones who don't get married for whatever reason, and also don't take initiative to increase their income feel barred from property ownership.

Just live in the Midwest. Yeah it's boring as shit, but it's /comfy/, there's a decent amount of opportunity, and everything is cheap.

Waiting for the opportunity to strike

Have 50k in gold and waiting for the eviction/foreclosure crisis at the end of this month, assuming neetbux don’t get extended.

Prices are either gonna drop or the market’s gonna get flooded with airbnb’s/property liens. Let the market correct itself

They are really poorly built here in Aus, too many DIY heros who want to flip

Based, I'm about to do this now that my brother moved out.

Because its fucking expensive. Dipshit female millennials grew up thinking they were obligated to be career women and the market adapted to each household having two adult incomes. Forget raising your kids yourself, it’s so much more respectable to make powerpoints for $50k a year.

Enjoy your cuck pod. Prices will always continue to go up. Unless deportations of brown people happen or if people start dying

how are we not peak tulip mania when it comes to houses

I would buys guns and bullets.

People aren't just going to accept this lying down. Literally 50% of the US is going to live in tent cities.
The burning and looting was a tiny fraction of what is to come.

what are the big 3 supppsed to be? ny, la, Chicago? and a two income family is already a cope

I've been looking into places to move to when I make it, always end up in Montana or N/S Dakota. It seems pretty nice except I hate cold weather.

Sounds like you're coping. I'll cope with not having flushed any money down the toilet buying a stupidly overpriced cuck shed.

Did you apply for the $1k SBA grant as a gig worker? If not you should asap

I'm a self employed musician. Feel ur pain dude

Live in SoCal and my area is fucking stupid. I'm looking to buy and can afford the home but the supply is so shit in the 700k-850k range. It really feels artificial and not like the past few years. The thing is, the garbage homes are selling too.

Unfortunately we need houses. You can't live in a tulip. Forced to engage in this manipulated housing market. No wonder so many are choosing to live in a rolling cuck shed named "van life".

>make decent bit more than the median us household income
>priced out of everything except 70 year old dumps or 20 year old double wides

Burn this market to the fucking ground. The only people buying 350k homes are people who already have equity or double income families that dont raise their kids or choose not to have any.

Millennials are incels and everything bad in the world.

Now get off my lawn.

>750k
Stop living in Jew York. I live in one of the most expensive flyover metros (Denver) and even here you can get a 1500-2000 sqft family home for under 400k.
If you move to a smaller town you can for barely 100k or even less, just had a friend in Wyoming buy a 4 bed 3 bath for 120k.

because it's a scam.

>instead of saving up to pay a down payment, he flushes 30% of his income down the drain to a slumlord
