Not confirmed yet, but if it does it's because it's become a cult hit and CSM is just a straight up success.

Who's taking it? Will they do the whole thing or just some?

It didn't.

Not as good as Door Punch imo

Nothing beats Ghost Slide.

can someone explain the appeal of this just feels cliche and boring

If you don't get it, you don't get it.

While we're here and on that topic, I finished reading Fire Punch a few days back. I genuinely enjoyed it, but what the fuck? What the actual hell? How many times do you need to reread something like this to understand?

Or am I just a tard?

forced meme by redditors who spent months posting the same page.

Ah to be a dumb brainlet, you too

i get it, i just think it has a lot of attention for its quality

Understand what?

If you think it's overrated, then you don't get it.

Read:
The Inmortal (Borges)
The Library of Babel (Borges)
Watch:
Wild Strawberries (Bergman)
Fanny&Alexander (Bergman)
It will give you some depth on the topics the author used, he surely it's acquainted with modern western literature that plays a lot with the subversion of the hero and metanarrative.
Or you could just leave it as a very weird tale.

If you call it fucking "cliche" you don't get it. You can have whatever opinion you want about it but it's objectively false to call it "cliche"

It didn't

there is literally nothing cliche about it

What you didnt get?

>this just feels cliche
What parts of it feel like cliches?
Please elaborate.

What’s there to understand? The larger backstory? Seemed pretty straightforward.

So I just finished reading this because Zig Forums kept recommending it and quite frankly, I don't get the hype.
It relies too heavily on cheap shock value and last minute twists to keep the readers interested. Because the story doesn't follow an inherent narrative logic, things like character developtment and world building become non-existent. While I really enjoyed the background art, the characters themselves were rather poorly drawn with the minimum amount of technical effort put into.

>cheap shock value
That's not what makes this series good.
>doesn't follow an inherent narrative logic
That's a good thing.
>character developtment and world building become non-existent
t. world record olympic speedreader
>characters themselves were rather poorly drawn
If you can't appreciate how much Fuji conveys with his minimalistic art style, you have shit taste.

>t-that not true!
Go and read more manga, pleb

You didn't put any effort into your buzzword-riddled post, why would you expect anything more in return?

>cliche
>boring
>shock value
>doesnt follow narrative logic
Holy fucking shit, just walk into a thread and immediately out yourself as a sub-90 IQ redditor right off the bat why don't you.

some one on Zig Forums pointed out that it would be pretty expensive to animate a main Character that is constantly on fire. So it is most likely going to be a CGI which could be shitty Netflix CGI.

Maybe just leave it as a manga. Also the only anime that come kinda similar in ton that come to my mind are Ergo Proxy, Wolfsrain and maybe Texhnolyze which are all early 2000 shows. Chainsawman would work much better for an anime in the current climate.

/thread
FP is garbage

What's so hard to understand about it?

Another moron filtered by Fuji.
In the fucking trash you go.

>cliche
It's purposefully subverting cliches and I think that's the charm for many. Saw someone describe it as "fiction for people who have seen so much fiction they just want to be surprised" and I still think that's true. After consuming tons of B-flicks and trash manga you just kind of get the charm. If you aren't a jaded genre savvy asshole then you won't get the appeal. And that's okay.

well put user. it was fun not being able to predict where the fuck fuji would go at any given point
