And one last thing. He should not have Titanic-ized a biographical movie. His biography was good enough for an anime without needing to combine it with a romance novel.

He's one of only like 4 or 5 people to ever create decent-quality animation in Japan.

Some of the things he said are right, like pretty much anything about otaku and how their hate for real people translates into shit anime.
Some are "old man yells at cloud" tier like what he said about LoTR.
And some are not even real because Zig Forums invented those quotes but a lot of retards still believe he said that.

There's nothing hypocritical about producing works in a medium you eventually come to hate once it's lost its soul because it's filled with philistines selling bullshit to man-children, and there's nothing hypocritical about trying to make art in a medium you love even if you criticize the shit out of it.
