I choose you

Tesla - Does what is best

Car companies - Does what has worked

No competition between these two. Tesla is going to eat them all alive.

I'm going to buy 1k worth of ARCO as a first time investment. It's at it's lowest rn and that's because of covid but there's no way it's going to go out of business and it will eventually go up to normal again.

I bought a WMT call with a strike price of $140 and it's expiring Aug 21st, am I gonna make it? This is my second call ever and I used the money I made from my first call to buy it

how would you have lost all your money on netflix
it has only been going up
why would you even bother shorting this if that's what happened

lol'd hard. How many elongated molusks are lodged in your anus this instant?

Again

Tesla - direct to consumer. Eventually will build to demand. No stockpiling. No middle man

Car companies - Stockpile model, local retail stores model. Man in the middle taking 6%.

Until car companies have a logistic and direct sales model they can't compete. Not even talking vehicles or EV or anything.

Tesla has a massive efficiency advantage in that direct sales system alone

kek

I don't think the stock price is reasonable at the moment. Not even a holder except through ETF. I'm just glad Tesla is actually bringing about obvious efficiencies like cutting out dealer's 6% cut.

First for UAVS!

Please fucking end me

AMERICA!!!

How dumb would it be to but 100 shares of SLV and sell covered calls? Pretty dumb?

In the future Tesla will use gigantic fucking 3d printers and print every car to flawless technical precision down to the atomic level. In 24 hrs or less.

How hard did you get burned trying to bet against TSLA? You're always in these threads posting the same elongated name meme and talking trash, you seem upset.

UAVS is the only thing I’ve made money on this week. Holding until Monday.

Do I need to actually own 100 shares of something to trade options or are you guys just selling naked calls way OTM and crossing your fingers?

stupid fucking NCLH i hate this stock so fucking much goddamn

First for MVIS. Almost tried to swing my stack yesterday. Thought better of it, held and now im up another 700 bones. Wheeeeee....

Tesla is selling direct right now. No haggling. No negotiations. Just a price and website order. No ad spends either.

Its an obvious long term hodl. If you think cruise lines are coming back tomorrow youre retarded. Give it a year, youll want to blow the CEO. Pause.

You can buy an option and then sell it later if its premium goes up. There's a difference between buying and selling, and "writing". Writing options is where you effectively produce the contract, and somebody else pays you the premium straight away. Naturally, you have an obligation to them or the bearer if the strike price is hit. You can write call options while holding 100 shares, or you can write put options with enough money to purchase 100 shares of the underlying at the strike. Where you get into trouble is writing options without having the shares or the capital necessary to fulfill your obligation as the contract writer.

reminder nasdaq and tech will outperform. These irregularities are minor and short before people wake up and jump back into the winners.

Writing naked calls without knowing exactly what you are doing is guaranteed disaster

Should I work at Amazon?

seriously?
Did you read the announcement after the bell that the CDC was forbidding cruising until september?

I wonder if that'll be pushed back again.

stories i have heard from employees indicates no, no you probably should not. Main complaint is they are stupid strict about break frequency and duration, long hours, don't seem to care much about employee retention and they prefer dissatisfied ones quit so they can bring in a new schlub to replace rather than addressing said complaints.

being an amazon security chad seems like it would be fun, making sure wagies stay in their cages

But can you make money pretty quick with them?

can you?

Idk someone told me it was 16 an hr for 3 12 hr days

that's reasonable and logical. cdc extends no sail order and line goes down. however this is clown market so I wasn't expecting anything reasonable or logical

No
>stupid strict about break frequency and duration
>don't seem to care much about employee retention
>they prefer dissatisfied ones quit so they can bring in a new schlub
rather than addressing said complaints.
Nailed it.
Amazon runs its warehouses such that employees are mere cogs in a machine.

>being an amazon security chad seems like it would be fun, making sure wagies stay in their cages
That does actually seem like a fun role.
They're on their phones all the fucking time.

>not saying, "wagies stay in their cagies"

ngmi

People are starting to figure out Covid is just like a flu except way less deadly

Attached: 1590298740034.jpg (800x821, 86.72K)

Except it's cars are the lowest quality of all brands...
Defects are through the roof...

That’s not why the line went down. They needed money and issues new shares today. Dillutionart offering. They needed money and there was no reason for it to go up 20% in one day.

CLSK has been my comfiest hold

If their main battery dies, they literally can't even be towed.

>I bought a WMT call with a strike price of $140 and it's expiring Aug 21st, am I gonna make it?
no

Too boomer to work. I am bullish on WMT more than any other stock but it doesn't move like that

I have covid
It's pretty bad desu

For those doing credit spreads, how often do you manage to get into trades where the premium is roughly 75% of the overall collateral? Ie, you receive 360, overall collateral is 500

What you mean too boomer to work?

The stock market is going to crash tomorrow. Nothing is safe.
