Would this be big enough to read manga on? Don't wanna spend so much money on an iPad...
What are y'all using to read manga?

My computer?
My eyes.
>y'all
There's these things called "computer monitors", perhaps you've heard of them.
I use an old TV as a computer monitor
It actually works, by the way, it's good to read with.
So many people sit at their PC and read manga. That sounds uncomfortable as fuck. I figured you guys would be more developed than that
My PC, what else would I use?
Same.
Zig Forums is full of plebs.
I bought a note 10 plus specifically so that I could read Manga in bed. Works good enough for me, so I imagine an 8 inch tablet would be good. The problem is holding the screen, look at these huge bezels on the fire HD, the size is more than the screen. You should evaluate your holding position.
Does anyone here use a vertical monitor to read manga, I was thinking it might be nice to be able to see the page in its totality rather than scrolling
Yes. I use a Fire8 running PerfectViewer.
It's fine.
The screen is awful. I don't recommend it.
It's better overall, although occasionally a spread doesn't work as well.
Would recommend a higher range tablet. Not ipad tho unless you are fine reading manga on garbage apps/legally.
good point on the spreads, forgot about that
Depends entirely on the device's resolution. This one's is 1280x800.
I'm going to hazard a guess and say...no?
i read manga on a 55" inch TV. it is objectively better than a book because a book is smaller
Kinda wished I got the 10" model though. 7.8" is nice for mango and novels, but too small for work.
Kindle Oasis
I use an iPad Air 3 with Chunky, is great.
ive never gotten through a digital copy of a book or manga. Something about feeling the progress of turning the pages keeps me going,
...
>Kindle
lol, no
Are Amazon Kindles a meme? I was thinking of getting one and buying all of Fire Punch and Beserk. Can you hack them? I want to download other manga for free
You might be able to read downloaded manga through Calibre on a Kindle, but I never got that to work on my old Kindle a few years ago.
The more sophisticated Kindles have web browsers and you might even be able to just go on mangadex and read there................
see
fuck off
Kindle is cheap, but the price you pay is massive inconvenience when you want to read something pirated. Personally I go for one of them chink android ereaders where I can easily install tachiyomi and koreader, but they're considerably more ex than kindle.
Why can people tolerate Calibre? It's UI is a piece of shit, and there are other options for reading and stripping DRM.
go back normalfaggot use the rope too
Calibre was pretty easy for what I wanted it to do...aka put pirated books into my Kindle. It did that pretty easily.......
