Would a second season be a wise idea at all or would it come tumbling down once they reach the moon?
Houseki no Kuni
It'd be great if there were another season, maybe ending on Phos bringing the other gems to the moon after he came back the first time.
Don't really see why the moon would be a bad point, it'd be about as easy to model/animate as the normal world, and some of the most iconic moments of the series happen there.
One word: Cairngorm.
The Cairngorm stuff wouldn't be as annoying with anime pacing. And I like a lot of the stuff that happens on the moon. What Phos finds out on the moon is also where the main story really kicks into gear. So leaving everyone on the first season's ending just makes the series seem like something it's not.
Well, in the instance where its another 12 episode run, it'd hopefully end before the candycorn incident.
Hopefully it would end around the 'High Hopes' or 'Today' chapters.
Phos did everything wrong by the way.
>losing that mysterious charm
>becomes moon daytime tv drama
>He
It does feel that way being pelted by so much information all at once and playing it off as a joke. Could have been much better without ghost entirely even.
AAAAAAAAAAAHH I LOVE PHOS!
>dumbest and most worthless gem
Phos is smart which is why he went to try and figure out why the lunarians were attacking them and was trying to stop it until he got fed up with the Earth gems being assholes.
i am expecting a season 2, and yes, it will be a wise idea
>dumbest and most worthless gem
>tries to bring the truth out and make peace with the lunarians
Can't wait for another talking-on-the-moon chapter.
no, it cant be... what else is there for talking?
>ends up a psycho nutjob wanting to kill everyone
and for good reason, 220 years dispersed separately by the ignorant gems can trigger real hard
So you want more CGI?
yes i do, it might even be better than s1
I remember beastars having a lot of scenes where it seemed like they just wanted test their technology, like haru's reflection in the sink tap, so if they put that to use for a gembutts s2 it could look fantastic.
Is Aechmea/Enma right in that this is only the beginning? Will we end up with another 90 chapters of nothing salad before something truly happens?
I feel like I could qualify for lustration at this point, with the sincerest interest in everything ending. Will it take until Chapter 108, to satisfy Ichikawa's fetish for making even chapter numbers symbolic? Will it be sooner? Later?
I feel like if things don't end with this invasion of earth, they may never. Especially if Ichikawa's short line about a child between Cringeworm and Aechmea wasn't just a joke.
it cant continue any much longer, if so, how?
I think it's pretty obvious the manga isn't going to end here. There's far too many trailing plot thread and Phos still has more character development to go before reaching enlightenment possibly sea arc.
If the release schedule is getting to you I'd really reccoment just waiting for the tank releases and reading along with those, the pacing isn't that bad when you aren't waiting for 20 chapters a month, I've certainly read plenty of manga which achieve a lot less in a lot more time.
It's obvious it won't end here, but I feel like at least some loose ends should be tied up at this point. None of the moon gems have a reason to fight anymore other than Phos, all the Earth gems hate Phos for disrupting their peace (despite Phos being the reason it exists) and Adamant should at least get some kind of resolution as to what the fuck is wrong with him.
If this just ends up with nothing and no developments, I feel like I'd just die.
Once they reach the moon nothing happens, just a few drops of info here and there.
Would be an absolute borefest (like the manga right now)
>manga right now is a borefest
Phos is LITERALLY smashing up people shed known for hundreds of years RIGHT NOW, what more do you want?
>borefest
absolutely wrong, its the most interesting manga i have ever read
I honestly would not mind if we did not get to see more of the anime, so long as the manga continues for a lot longer, which it's looking more probable to go that way right now.
sad but true
