When did a small vocal minority turn against One Piece? Was there a good reason for it? I swear this didn't use to be the case. Back in the day you had "set fail" and shit like that, but it was very relaxed and mostly not serious. There was also that wikipedia spammer that did it to every shonen thread, but that was more broad.
But now, there's always this undercurrent of One Piece hate. Why?

I can't speak for the others, but with me there was a noticeable slow and steady downward slope of quality from the timeskip onward, and then I just barely was able to make it through the horrible arc that was Dressrosa until I finally dropped it. Oda lost his touch

That spread in the 950s that said Wano's scope would determine the fate of the entire world sealed it. I used to be a fan when I was a kid but dropped it at highschool. I've met many people like me who dropped One Piece at some point. The longer the series goes, the more haters it will have.
Bleachfags typically stuck to their own threads and didn't care about One Piece while Wan-Pissdrinkers would always raid Bleach threads to shitpost and say One Piece was better.
