Shaman King Is Good

With a new anime adaptation coming, i want to know if this is good.

It is.

It's good, ending was a bit anticlimactic but made sense for the plot
Someone should storytime it

the power levels go out of control, even more so than most shonen manga but beyond that is pretty great.

>Read shaman king in shonen jump before naruto
>hell yeah spirits motha fucka
>15 years later
>try to restart and finish shaman king
>look up doujins
>all gay
>stop reading

Naruto is better

I enjoyed it. Yoh did nothing wrong.

>the power levels go out of control
Did they?, from the start they said Hao was too strong to be beaten and that never changed regardless of the power creep

Hao may have been an impassable hurdle, but once they realized that offing themselves and getting revived pumped their power through the roof, the only people that mattered were Yoh's group (minus Ryu) and Hao's minions. Every other shaman, besides revivers like Jeanne and Faust, were completely pointless

Chocolove was based

Trash ending, can't wait to see the threads for when Hao's mom shows up to slap him and then roll credits.

I sort of liked the idea of "The person we have to defeat is unbeatable and even if we did kill him the problem would just be even worse next time so we need to try something else."

I can't wait to see the normies react to Chocolove and his actual backstory

It is good until they reach the shaman town where the true tournament begins after that is thrash

FUCK YOU NIGGER. GO GET SPOONFED ELSEWHERE. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF ITS GOOD GO ASK YOUR WHORE MOTHER YOU FAT BITCH

The Buddhist group wasn't really pointless in terms of powerlevel but rather because Sati voluntarily retired from being a contender in order to give Yoh's group the spirits.

I agree that it's a great concept, but there had to have been a better way to execute it than having the forgotten mascot character complain to the new god's mom.

The ending is the most interesting thing about Shaman King. But it's not worth slogging through 300 chapters of predictable and generic shonen tropes to reach that ending

Yes.
Go read it in Mangadex.
Also, after you finish read Shaman King Zero, Shaman King Remix Track and Itako no Anna oneshot(which can be found at the end of Butsu Zone volume 3)

>but once they realized that offing themselves and getting revived pumped their power through the roof
That was known from the beginning with Yomi Cave.
They(Yoh) didn't want to kill Hao. He'd just come back 500 years later anyways.

I haven't actually finished the anime nor read the manga though I did complete the GBA game. Is the canon ending as anticlimactic as of the videogame version?

I was quite happy with the old anime and its ending.
How does it compare to the manga?

Manta never complained to Hao's mom.

What was the video game ending like?
Anyways, the ending is based. It's just shonenniggers who can't get over it because it wasn't a typical shonen ending.

One of the few doujins I own is a straight Shaman King doujin so I think you just didn't look hard enough user.

The old anime ending was dumb as hell.
Hao literally tries to absorb the Great Spirit with Spirit of Fire which is dumb and everybody in the tournament giving Yoh their energy to make a giant Amidamaru to destroy Hao was dumb as fuck.

something like an upcoming grand tournament and it just cut in there after the tournament concluded

Naruto is literally gay in canon.
He kisses Sasuke in chapter 3. We all know Hinata and Sakura are beards.

That sounds like the anime ending
How did the tournament conclude?
In the anime it was see and it was garbage

yeah that was exactly the ending of the game from what I remember. After that, it became open-world

why does the MC has a permanent resting bitch face?

Wait, it became open world after the ending?

He doesn't?

Only for the first 15 volumes. After that it's a rapid descent into powerlevel wankery
