Is this AMV recommendation thread? There are a few AMV that are great, how good it is usually depends on the creator and their taste in music.
One of the best creator that I really like is Nostromo, check his work if you wanted to find an interesting AMV. One of his works is this one. This site is a golden place if you want to find an interesting AMV.

I enjoy some of them. I’m not usually one to just browse YouTube looking for random amvs though. I usually look for a particular song and/or anime, so I’m a bit picky.

I absolutely love the first three AMV Hells. Back before it blew up in popularity at the time, so there's all sorts of weird picks and obscure by now series. AMV Hell 4 and so on are like, half Death Note, Jojo, or AOT depending on which was popular during their creation. Also the guy I liked the most died after 3, so no more of that.
0 and /0 are humorously tame though, considering everyone these days is way into tomboy thigh crushing and femboy castration or whatever. That was truly too soon for their time.
