Is it just me or did the art really degrade this arc? It's hard to tell what's happening most of the time. If this is meant to be the 'marineford' of mha then it's not moving in a good direction.

Compare the way fights are drawn in One Punch Man to how fights are done in MHA. Hori clutters the panels with too many effects and doesn’t make the characters or movements stand out.

Art is subjective. Personally I do not like his art very much, this works well for quick reading but not to save images for the quality of the strokes. In general, if I could define his art in one word, I would associate it with "blobs".
