imagine this narrator as the main character of an anime

That's why he is successful.

I'm about to watch his anime, really liked him in Kaiji S1.

That is the point, this was explored more in ten with akagi

He is nothing like the character from Kaiji S1

Yes!

I read that it's a lot more humorous, I'm curious how well it works.

Works very well if you're employed yourself and you can relate to Tonegawa's troubles with his underl- employees.

That fucking narrator was perfect

It's Japan, there isn't anytime for romance there's unpaid overtime work to be done.

guys
shin kurosawa is getting updated again
there's still hope left in humanity

>a spin-off of an anime about dice and cards is better than other shows that year
that's kinda sad

>spinoff was better than the second season of Kaiji

Honestly kind of wish they spent more time in the mines and shit, the bog just ehhhh was good but could have easily been a few episodes less and completely gotten the tone/plot/drama/suspense across

I am feeling things words cannot possibly describe. Is this enlightenment?

I wish worker dudes like him were more common as main characters.

>has no family or friends
Seems like the average MD in an investment bank.

As a fag living in a bank city most bankers don't seem to have families they are married with their job. They are the crazy workerholics that come to work even on Sundays just because, at best they have an expensive hobby aside from working but that's it. Most of them look like clones too.

He kind of is if you see him in Kaiji as playing a role but still giving speeches that reflect his philosophy. I watched Kaiji after Tonegawa and it honestly made me appreciate his character even more.

I finished Kaiji last week or the week before, anyways, the narrator really sticks around. Goddamn, I love the guy's voice. He absolutely nailed it, whoever he is.

That often happens in real life, user.

You should expand your view of the real world beyond your parents' basement, you know.

>EBI ROLL
>EBI GOOOAAALLLL

Why won't they give us a Kurosawa anime?

>no kurosawa anime
>no full akagi anime
>not buraiden gai short series
>no ten anime
It's not fair

anime is only for promoting manga to japanese audiences

>Kurosawa anime
Too depressing literally never ever.

Not true. Explain the Tower of god anime then.

You mean... this?

the obscenely rich cannot have friends or family at a conceptual level. Even if they have them by technicality, they don't love them - if they loved humans they wouldn't have become obscenely rich, which inherently requires exploiting humans

The bog was a experience, sort of a heist movie.

Burn in hell thief

t, not am obscenely rich person

Take your meds, schizo
