Even though I'm fully aware of how edgy and dumb it gets, I still got some enjoyment out of it when I rewatched it for the first time in about fifteen years. I also finally got around to reading the manga, and while it also gets edgy and dumb at times, I found it a crazy and fun ride nonetheless. The anime only covered roughly half of the manga and had to come up with its own ending, so if you do watch it and make it to the end, I recommend reading the manga afterwards.

Yes. Of course it's not for everyone, but it is one of the few edgy shows I really enjoyed. Love the animation (compared to other early 2000's stuff) and the music especially.
