I like this show. OST is great and I love Madoka.
Of course show isn't flawless, there is no progress between MC and girls most of the time and it's 44-episodes filler show. Also people don't like Madoka really much. Even I admit that she wasn't honest with her feelings. But it's still one of the best representation of 80-s life. Sorry for my esl-ness.

I love how they took responsibility for playing with Hikaru. Yes, it was hard for Madoka because Hikaru was her best friend for the long time. She also was important for MC so it was difficult decision. But it was only one right decision in this situation.

It's okay but the anime is unnecessarily draggy. Love the pure 80s atmosphere, it's perfect in that aspect and the sisters are my favorite characters.

Always remember that the entire OVA takes place around the latter third of TV anime despite it coming out after the TV anime. Also the whole TV anime, OVA and Movie is up on Crunchyroll just sitting there for anyone to watch for free if they want.
That shit was crushing how they just dumpster truck on Hikaru like that. It makes sense that Kyosuke would be stern about finally telling her about him and Madoka getting together, but coming from the upbeat atmosphere of the TV anime to this movie just kicked me right in the gut. Hikaru was always goofy and too trusting of Madoka's denying that she wanted Kyosuke but she was always earnest in her feelings for Kyosuke. Hikaru wasn't my favorite girl but I really liked her over time. Also where was Yuusaku? They put him on a bus.
Its ok but its really jarring to watch it cause it has a completely different character design. You wont even recognize Hikaru but god shes hot.
