The Promised Neverland

Oh, I get it.
It's called that because its promises never landed.

Has there ever been another manga that so conveniently solved all its problems and plotlines?

the premise never lands.

Should be Never promiseland

Nanatsu no Taizai is the peak of lazy writing
>Hey btw I conveniently found the power to lift the curse but I didn't tell anyone until now!

That's obvious from first chapter/episode. All oldfag fans of TV show Lost know.

Neverland is up there.
>Norman escaped the inescapable Lambda, hell if you think we'll show you how
>It's time to go meet Scribbles, did we mention we found out how to get there and even tried it out offscreen?
And more.

>Lost
How dare you bring back those memories, user.
Shame on you. Shame on you!

If Posuka decides to stick with this author, then she's a hack too.

>Ghost tits final chapter got like 3 active threads that hit bump limit
>TPN's last chapter only got one thread (so far) that died 200 posts in
Damn it really did die

If anything, it's an accomplishment that it got that many replies.
Ever since they returned to Grace Fields, the threads have been dying before we reached 100 posts
>tfw I remember us celebrating the first time a thread reached bump limit

She sucks at drawing, both are made for each other.

Her art on the first arc was consistent and less jaggy.
It was around the end of the forest arc that all the Milking Time started taking its toll on her and her art got wonky.
Both Shirai and her should stick to shorter stories from now on.

She can’t into people, but her landscapes, concepts and coloring and top class. She should ditch manga desu

Hey guys. I hear all counties on earth should open their borders. Thanks for the advice Japan.

We'll be finally free in half an hour.

Free me from this hell

Just fifteen more minutes, user.
And then S2 of the anime.

It's out.

Let's have some polls
overall:

ending:

>Screw destiny!
This is so fucking terrible hahahahahaha

That's it?
Fuck you, Shirai!

Who the fuck is Chris and why should I care?

It's the kid that got shot in the eye 90 chapters ago.

did the guy who voted the ending is great just shitpost or seriously think that?

so what is worse?
>a manga which conveniently resolves the plotlines with lazy writing
>or a manga that introduces new powers, item or stuff all of a sudden
Both are lazy writing but one just doesn't care about even adding something while other atleast tries to add something to show how things happened.

so fucking bad, holy shit did they really pull off a two year timeskip just like that?
from a legit 9/10 in the first arc to a 3/10 now

>I hear all counties on earth should open their borders.
Not the ones with filthy "demons" in them though, even though they're peaceful now and there should be no danger, who knows when those filthy savages will change their minds. Better to isolate them in their own world and go to the human world with no immigration allowed between both.
Going to the human world instead of coexisting with the now peaceful demons undermines the whole open borders, set aside our differences message.

press S to spit on the grave

wow that was fucking shit, but at least im finally done with this garbage

*b'dum trash*

Yeah. Then we can fight against retarded socialist Spacinoids like in Gundam!

>The connection between Norman and James Ratri was never revealed even though they look identical
>The note that Ray left for Krone to find in the first arc was never revealed even though the author said it would come up as a plot point in the future and that nobody has correctly guessed it so far
>Musica said there were two "promises" but we never learned what the second one was
So much wasted potential

looks like the “new generation” of shonen are dropping like flies
what’s next?

Nah sometimes they don't even trying but in TPN case this is even worse because the writer already showed he could write with 1st arc.

Why did Emma even needed to do the promise when all demons had already agreed to put an end to the farms and there were ways of getting to the human world without the need for mass teleporting?

Most likely.
However, I know someone who has recently reread the series and insists it's just as great as it's ever been, and that people don't like change.
He was completely serious.

>Norman conveniently lists off every unresolved subplot that they completely forgot until the final chapter
Yeah this is fucking bad
Unironically wish I dropped this 2 years ago

S

asdfasdfasdfasdfds

People would have bitched about the pacing and how the author is milking it if he did a more methodical covering of each subplot in this last arc. There's no winning.

Normally this would be a good ending if the series was actually well-written. But considering how well and happy things have gone by Emma simply talk no jutstu'ing her way through the story, I was expecting a happy ending where Emma remembers them. Ending it this way is just trying to give a sad/emotional ending for the hell of it.

I liked Goldy Pond

maybe but he could be one of those from m+comment section.

Because it would take longer to go and carry all those retarded cattle children, also, there were still demons like the one who killed Isabella.

It's finally over

And had Emma argue that losing her memories was the way to settle her "I don't want to kill demons" bullshit, as if to say: "See? There were consequences, r-right?"

As I said:
Demons are filthy savages who can't be trusted, even if some are good people. Better to go to another world and build a wall. This manga is actually against open borders and different races living together.

Even Charlotte handled the "mc loses his memories" ending better.

Compared to this shitshow Goldy Pond is god tier
Too bad they managed to ruin that arc as well by making Lewis bend over and spread his ass for Emma

it would be better if both sides forget or everyone forgets about Emma.

Here he comes, here comes Speed Reader he's a Retard with Wheels.

The best way to handle "mc loses their memories" is to discard it.

>demon's human eating problems solved by Musica's blood
>retarded cattle children and Lambda aids solved by Adam's blood
What's with the author and conveniently solving everything with some special snowflake's blood?

i never read past them leaving the orphanage but let me guess what happened
>they plan to kill all the monsters or whatever
>they find out that the monsters actually have a sympathetic reason for killing humans
>the main character convinces them to live in peace
>the end

Only if it was as badly written as it ended up being. People didn't bitch about Grace Field even though it took them four and a half volumes to escape from an orphanage. By contrast, it took less than one to assault the imperial capital, kill the nobles and queen and overturn the government. Not to mention stuff like the escape from Lambda just getting offscreen'd.

Poor Ray

Attached: lol.png (363x923, 353.23K)

>every unresolved subplot
Not even half of them.

Yeah this holy shit. Can you imagine how that assault could have gone if it was planned out like the first arc? That would have been insane.
