What's the best way to translate sfx in speech bubbles? I'm personally pretty bad at coming up with the proper written representation of the sound in English, and I personally don't like just writing the word describing the sound.

True, those are pretty bad, but producing bad MTL while not admitting it, and larping as a cute girl is just BAD.
It also pisses the fuck off he scanlates from some of my favorite authors, I would snipe the fuck out of him in a heartbeat just to get him to fuck off, but I really don't want to wade into drama right now.
