This is the biggest pile of garbage I've watched yet. How the fuck is this one of the most recommended romance animes everywhere? The conversations and situations feel like they're written by a teenager. The characters are all 1 dimensional, and it takes until the last episode to see supposed "growth".

This is how one can detect that someone got pleb filtered. The show has flaws, but 1 dimensionality is definitely not a thing that the characters suffer from. Behind the facades they put on characters like Ami and Minori and pretty damn substantive, at least by anime standards. The characters ACT like teenagers, but don't act like they were written by teenagers. I can't imagine how low IQ you have to be get filtered by Toradora of all things. Pretty embarrassing. It's not an amazing show but it's pretty good, and far better than most romcoms.

She was really the best love interest for him from an outsiders perspective, and the whole purpose of her there was to help highlight that despite Taiga and Kitamura having a familial relationship early, they were also more compatible sexually. She was the homewrecker in the show, while also being vulnerable and highlighting the pressure teenagers face to grow up quickly.

Ami is a great character because you're meant to despise her, then she mellows and becomes a better person. Unfortunately for her, nobody trusts her and views her with a degree of scorn even after she becomes friends with them all. She's the one on the sidelines always trying to explain to the others, who are dense as fuck and immature, exactly what is going on. She's the Cassandra of the story and pretty damn tragic.

Of all the shots you could have tried taking at Toradora, you... made up a blatantly false one. You could have said it gets overly melodramatic sometimes, you could have seized on the fact that discriminating against somebody because of "sanpaku eyes" is stupid and would never happen in real life, you could have complained that Minori is too hyper to not be on meds, but instead you said that they're all one-dimensional when the story makes a point to explore the various aspects and facets of all the leads and then some. This is why I don't like taking Zig Forums seriously.
