I gotta say, even though it isn't finished and simply by comparing the first three chapters of their respective route, I am enjoying Fumino route more than Uruka and Rizu's route. The trio having a little girl party is a nice nostalgic touch that leaves on a happy and optimistic note for the three of them. The last bit is almost like the calm before the storm comes, and we can guess what is to come for Fumino.

Did the new translation group drop the series already? Anyway Fumino still isn't doing anything, I hope she does go snake because that would actually be interesting to see. She tried to kiss him in the first route.

It is realistically doubtful but I hope for some dark scenes. Just to make things more intense and interesting to see raw emotions in play.

Chainsaw Man isn't much better and they updated that. Granted, next to One Piece everything looks like nobody cares about it. If they did drop it I wish they'd just make an announcement instead of leaving people guessing

I'm literally the typesetter and yes we are considering dropping it because raw availability is low priority and late for this series and if we can't release pre-viz it's just no worth it.

Yeah and Chainsaw Man is consistently hanging around 30. Even MHA barely broke 100. Again, OP makes everything look insignificant by comparison

Judging from the numbers, you can drop everything that isn't OP if all you care about are the clicks. Viz will release their stuff no matter what.

I know you have to think about your bottom line first and foremost, but for what it's worth I was elated to see someone was finally offering an alternative to VIZ again. VIZ ruins everything they touch with their localization nonsense. If a pre-VIZ timetable takes priority, why'd you go back to do chapter 159? And if that double release ate up your time, don't feel compelled to do it - I, at least, would just be happy to see the last route translated by you because VIZ fucking butchers that girl's dialogue and speech patterns

It's not about Viz releasing. It's about us releasing prior to them. And likes =/= clicks. We don't share clicks data for obvious reason but series that get early spoilers and raws gets lot of reads while they crumble if raws are late and we release so much as an hour later than official release since the other website just have a further reach to readerbase and orientate them directly to the official release and we lose those clicks entirely. Bokuben is sadly one of those series. We translated a chapter from the previous arc too and was actually more work than the newest one but we got very few clicks on that. Anyway we may continue release at least for this week since work on the chapter is almost done but we will se for the remainder of the series wether to keep working on it or not.

As a typesetter I don't really know about this stuff. I kinda got thrown in the mix for this particular project. It's not a big deal for me but cleaning and TL have the saying on this since it's the most effort, typesetting is pretty chill and I enjoy it, put anime on the side screen too.

Fumino's chapters are already a lot better than Rizu's chapters, but I want them to get to 4/5 already. I want to see my girl win. She deserves to win after having to deal with nisekoi.

Well I'm not here to shill nor to tell you to do it but if you do it would be helpful to the group and I'll report it to the group hoping it helps. As I said I got a lot of free time and it's not really a big deal for me. Came in this thread exactly to see how the fanbase is acting towards the release since I grew curious after the drop project ted talk.
