No. You can already pretend to like it without actually watching it which is honestly all it's good for it seems. It's very boring, honest to god probably my least favorite anime I've ever watched. Unless you're just completely enamoured with political and military rhetoric and lofty philosophical jargon I don't see how you could get any enjoyment out of it. Also Yang gets shot and dies around episode 80. Fuck loghtards.

This is what I mean. This is the brain of the loghtard. They'll claim you didn't understand the show or you're too stupid to understand it as if it's not the most straightforward piece of media ever written. No subjects discussed in logh would be foreign to your average high schooler. I would argue the events that take place in logh are considerably more boring than actual history. You could watch 40 historical documentaries in the time it would take you to watch this series and come out on the other side much more educated and fulfilled.

Not all logh fans are like that, just a lot of try-hard teens who feel cool for having watched it.

Perhaps the series is just not for you. Maybe you should try something more your speed, like Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon.

Yu-Gi-Oh's combat system and strategy are deeper and more thought provoking than any of the ""tactics"" shown in logh. Not to mention it has more engaging narrative arcs and better written characters. Keep deluding yourself into thinking you're smart for enjoying logh though, I'll never get tired of seeing you retards on the internet.

It's a drama where the characters are written for the appreciation of men rather than women. If you can find nothing worthy of respect in the main characters, then the politics and drama between them will not be interesting to you.

While comparing it to Plutarch's Parallel Lives does the Lives an injustice, I think it has a similar type of appeal.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that the character's were exclusively written for men, but their personalities and motivations are definitely more in line with being relatable to men rather than women.

Also there's a lot of fujobait stuff going on at the same time, especially with younger Reinhardt and Kircheis. This is pretty transparent. The female pandering is mostly superficial though. The core drama of the series is male oriented problems.

Stellar wordbuilding, super developed characters, can feel slow at times but it's what you get with most older shows from the 80's/90's. I'd say it's worth at least watching up to episode 26 before deciding if you wanna devote yourself fully or not.
