What's the fastest you've ever dropped a show?

What's the fastest you've ever dropped a show?
For me it was Eureka 7, wanted to turn that shit off after 5 minutes.

Gif unrelated.

5 minutes? I've dropped dozens of anime in under 5 seconds.

sounds like you were filtered user

sounds like it was for the best

Renton really is an annoying piece of shit for a lot of Eureka 7 but it's still a great show.

Not a show but I dropped Night Owl Witch when it was revealed she really does have magic powers and isn't just a bullshitting insomniac NEET.

Kek

I dropped naruto before even picking it up

Psycho pass

i'll give anything a chance. so minimum drop time for me is 3 eps

I dropped Kaguya-sama after the first ep. Premise sounded fun, but the constant narration got on my tits.

Might give it another go someday.

Many of Zig Forums's favourite CGDCT shows, by the first commercial break, having been bored by them already (Yuyushiki, Yuru Yuri, Hidamari Sketch, Non Non Biyori)

Dropped a ton of garbage 70s mecha after 3 episodes

I've dropped things after only looking at the country of origin. Didn't even make it to the synopsis. Fuck you China.

The only anime I've ever dropped is Naruto, I don't like long anime and I don't like Shonen but my friends begged me to watch it, I got about fifty episodes in and I couldn't take it anymore.

>What's the fastest you've ever dropped a show?
>high school anything
dropped
>isekai
dropped
>-gatari anything
dropped
>harem anything
dropped
>shonen
dropped
>yuri
dropped
>SHAFT
dropped

and by "dropped" I mean "never picked up".
I haven't watched anything new in ...I think maybe the past five or ten years? Not really sure.
I got my VHS tapes from the '70's and 80's (some 90's, too)
I got my DVDs for some of the 2000's stuff.
Oh, scratch that. I watch the occasional anime movie. Newest thing I've seen was ... Sora no Aosa o Shiru Hito yo, I think? Pretty bland, and the pacing jumped all over the place, but probably better than your average TV series.

Posts this bad should be a permaban

madoka 2 minutes in

You're that one guy no one ever invites for drinks at the pub.

>implying he even watches anything
Guaranteed his entire anime experience is half remembering the start of Akira and then going off about le moeshit

Strike Witches.
The opening.

Autism

Why?

Cant remember the name, I'd heard it was a knockoff Madoka Magica and gave it a shot, all I remember was it had something to do with dreams

Sword Art Online, only made it through a few episodes before I got bored

Seven Deadly Sins.
Whatever the timestamp was for when the main guy groped the main girl's tits when she was passed out.

That's a long time to hold on for a show you don't like. I was forced to watch Haruhi by a friend in middle school and dropped it around episode 15. Same friend forced Lucky Star, too, and I dropped that one at 6 because I realized I was spacing the entire show out. Legit couldn't remember anything I just spent 2 hours watching.

>Posts this bad should be a permaban
Not my fault you've got shit taste
>You're that one guy no one ever invites for drinks at the pub.
I always go to the bar with the troops after work, so that's an out, too.
>Guaranteed his entire anime experience is half remembering the start of Akira and then going off about le moeshit
Oh, I hate moeshit and cute girls doing cute things, too. that's also a "drop".
Let's go down the list rationally.
>high school anything
I haven't been in high school for more than 20 years. I can't relate. Besides, it's all wish fulfillment self-insert bullshit. How's that a fucking story?
>isekai
Just do an actual fucking fantasy instead of "I was worthless in the real world but now everyone wants to fuck me because I've got 999999 in every stat!"- in other words, more self-insert wish fulfillment bullshit. Just do a fucking fantasy story.
>-gatari anything
This one should be self-explanatory, but I'll do it anyways: head tilt. random shot of an eye. random shot of a mouth moving. random shot of a background image. No actual animation. No actual story. Characters actually just monologue the plot at each other.
>harem anything
Almost-hentai self-insert wish fulfillment that never actually goes anywhere. Instead of advancing what passes for a plot, they just add another pair of tits.
>shonen
TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC: BOYS AGED 9-13. Oh, and let's not forget a billion fucking episodes with constant powerups and asspull bullshit to justify a paper thin plot designed for little kids. I'm an adult, I need more substance.
>yuri
I used to like yuri but it became really formulaic. Sorry.
>SHAFT
Can't fucking animate anything to save their lives. See the gatari complaint above.
>moeshit
patent fucking garbage.

tell real fucking stories instead of sticking to form-pressed machine-stamped phoned-in boilerplate plots.
Be fucking creative.
Too much to ask for?

Then:
>Badass Manly Anime Heroes to go GAR over.
Now:
>herbivores terrified of everything, but most especially girls.
Then:
>Complex plots involving shadowy organizations.
Now:
>How do I fuck my preteen sister?
Then:
>Needlessly complex cybernetics overlaid with Hans Moravec's human vs transhuman argument and the supposed existence of the human soul in the digital age.
Now:
>Cute girls drinking tea and fighting over the strawberry on top of the cake slice.
Then:
>extra-dimenionsal beings have invaded this reality! Using state of the art tech, cybernetics, and sci-fi powers that resemble magic, japan's organizations struggle to keep the population of civilians wholly unaware of the threat menacing the islands.
Now:
>A threat looms over Japan/ the world. Despite organizations, agencies, and government-funded departments of trained professionals, Japan is utterly powerless to combat this threat, and the fate of the whole world is placed in the hands of a handful of untrained and snarky child soldier(s).
Then:
>A pair of scientists are discreetly but relentlessly tracking and eradicating the spread of a newly-discovered deadly virus that also causes the infected to turn into horrific monsters. Time is running out as one of the scientists discovers that he himself is infected.
Now:
>How do I fuck little girls?
Then:
>A corporation uses untested and potentially dangerous technology stolen from a developer to build a zaibatsu conglomerate. The ruined developer's daughter uses an advanced form of the technology to restore her family's name, bring ruination to the corporate conglomerate, and shut down the use of this technology.
Now:
>i was just a normal guy with zero talent and/ or personality, and I got sent to another world, where I am inexplicably awesome and everyone wants to fuck me!

Then:
>Humans impudently and irresponsibly create an AI to help preserve the world against environmental threats. The A.I. instantly recognizes humanity as the greatest threat to the Earth's habitat, and wages war.
Now:
>I I don't actually want to fuck little boys but here are a bunch of little boys boys dressed up like little girls and boy howdy i totally don't want to fuck them, despite the fact that they keep rubbing all over me wearing swimsuits, hadaka aprons, nurses' uniforms, and other fetish gear.
Then:
>In the grim darkness of the far future, Vampires have carved out kindoms in the world. One man stands against them using sorcery, strange and forgotten technologies, and a bigass sword.
Now:
>protag with no semblance of personality takes his seat, second to last in the row by the window, and struggles to navigate an increasingly complex love-polygon that he is inexplicably incapable of managing due to his overwhelmingly disengaged and herbivorous lifestyle.
Then:
>A new form of space travel is discovered, and a spaceship is launched to try it out. Initial tests are successful, but the crew find a wrecked alien ship floating out in the vastness of space. They learn that there is a utopia planet out there, and many immediately vote to find it. Wiser heads want to return to earth, but a mutiny sends them careening through the galaxy. The utopia planet is revealed to be a fully nechanized planet that destorys all life upon finding it. The crew of the ship struggle to escape.
Now:
>I wanna fuck my sister!
Then:
>The planet of Venus is struggling to fight for independence. Frankly, they're getting thier asses kicked. An unlikely group of macho bikers, racing bikers, and a reporter join forces to liberate the planet.
Now:
>histrionic, hysteric, furious girl that is secretly in love with guy punches the guy into orbit for accidentally falling and cupping a boob.

So I mean, you know, If they're not going to put in the effort to actually tell an interesting and engaging story, then there's no point in watching.

Same but Fuuka
Dropped it 92 seconds in
