So just like that, huh?
People pretend it never existed
Promised Neverland
Oh god, this shit is just so retarded
barely anyone on Zig Forums cared even before it ended
First arc was good.
If she kills the demons, she will be just like them!
It stopped being good when it stopped being a prison escape movie and started being well . . . I suppose like any other shonen jump anime
Damn, I didn't realize it was already ending
was the ending good or not?
Disappointing that even with a writer/artist split they couldn't get someone that could transition between the first arc and later stuff and still be just as good with a different style of storytelling. What chance does a single mangaka story have as a weekly serialization?
Grace Field was an excellent take on whatever the hell you wanna call the "dystopian prison escape with young adult protagonists" genre that Maze Runner and Hunger Games fall into. Goldy Pond was a solid follow-up to it. Way different and went on too long but it was a fun arc thanks to Byron and Emma's development.
Once Norman was reintroduced everything started falling to pieces, though I'd argue it'd have gotten away with a decent ending instead of an abysmal one had it been restructured to end at the Seven Walls instead of getting padded out forever with the Return to Grace Field. After the Demon Queens death the whole story felt limp, and everything was so tidily wrapped up for a happy ending in a way that didn't suit the story at all.
That's because he only had a clear vision for the escape from the farm everything else was done on the fly with almost no thought given to the overall narrative
according to poll anons think it's shit
>Left the house, now what: The Manga
Wait, is this over?
Give me a quick rundown
Yes
how can a story be so tense and also have absolutely no stakes at the same time
i kept reading thinking "surely now these shiteating brats will experience a loss"
but it never happened
>demon queen
What the actual fuck? I haven’t followed the story past season one and this is quite the far cry from it’s humble beginnings.
The series had an amazing start but then after the first arc crashed & burned out after they had too many time-skips & important events happen completely off-screen
Man I love the artist's work but I don't know what to think about this series.
>Goldy Pond was a solid follow-up to it. Way different and went on too long but it was a fun arc thanks to Byron and Emma's development.
My only problem with goldy pond is that nobody fucking died. If all of the "injured" had actually died it would have been my favorite arc desu.
The price is kinda retarded. It's not Emma losing her "family" but her family losing her. Memory is part of what makes you who you are. Memory lost Emma is Emma but not Emma that everyone knows anymore. Would be better if everyone forget Emma because this means she loses them forever.
Not an anime but Oddworld did the whole "We're their food" thing alot better desu
The series was getting bad before this, but this is what made me drop it.
Knowing Emma killing is too lenient
I'm honestly surprised that people kept up with it after the anime ended.
Why is Emma not wanting genocide of a sentient race a bad thing?
its a pretty cucked position desu
You wouldn't get it
Jeez user I don't know maybe BECAUSE SHE'S SEEN THEM EAT HER FAMILY ALIVE
I never felt the anime was a great adaptation. It never really captured the feeling of dread of the early chapters and a lot of the shots came across as awkward.
I wouldn't consider anything Zig Forums votes a proper way to measure the quality of anything.
90% of times they will vote like it was the worst thing ever made.
Even though the ending was pretty meh and the last arc was awful
shit ending fitting for a shit series
Why is this panel bad? Never read this before. Can someone give me a quick rundown
