The thing is a battle harem will at least have, well A BATTLE, of some kind. Maybe it's a tournament, maybe it's an evil society, but there's typical a rival or an antagonist to overcome. Isekai can't even be assed to have an actual fantasy adventure half the time anymore.

Who throws a snake. I mean seriously. But yes, Vanadis was fun. The MC wasn't some beta pussy, the girls all had good and fun personalities and while it only covers a fraction of the novels it resolves it's more immediate problems and outside a couple of dangling threads actually does feel like it ended on a "complete" note. Was a good watch. The manga is actually even better in my opinion too.
