Talent vs Effort

Does the word talent even hold a meaning in the bigger picture?

Ping Pong the Animation was such a fucking good show

talent just means intelligence

>Does the word talent even hold a meaning in the bigger picture?

I would say so. Talented people that put in the hard work are usually the people at the top of whatever they are talented in.

Talent < Effort < Talent + Effort

The fastest runners in the world are from a relatively small subset of the human gene pool, that just so happens to form legs that are exceptionally good for sprinting.
You can generally tell what kind of sport Olympic champions are good at just from their overall physique.
Runners have long legs, swimmers have short legs.

The brain isn't visible from the outside, but it too has an architecture that supports different kinds of things differently well.

Training is important and shouldn't be underestimated (though even the ability to train hard is a talent that not everybody has). But there are limits to it.

is this how you cope with the fact that the highlight of your day is watching anime? lmao loser

YUUJO > RAIBAL > talent > effort

What is wrong with you? Nothing he said implies that watching anime is all he has going for him. (though by coincidence that might be true)
>he ability to train hard is a talent that not everybody has
I disagree with this. Training is a habit. And habits can forced upon people.

Talent is just a 'head start', effort is always king.

>vs
That implies talented people can't or don't exert effort.

They are more likely to exert effort, since people who are not talented tend to find out quickly that maybe they should do something else instead.

For me it's waiting for the chance to pounce

Anyone got the Hanebado chapter where he likens training to watering a pot, not knowing if there's a seed in the soil?

Never read the series, but that chapter was fucking touching.

If the MC's rival is more talented and undergoes the best possible training regimen, how does the MC always win through "hard work"?

Seems like no one here has ever met a child prodigy. Holy shit it was so disheartening meeting someone 1/3 your age and them just be better than you at everything. Some days I wish I was autist like that.

While most geniuses are indeed autistic, most autistic people have IQs below 100.

This is absolutely correct. The people at the top require both talent and effort

Most child prodigy that I know had gone to oblivion

That's stupid. Talent is always superior because it can also have effort while the opposite is not true.

What are the other instances of doing Bradbury?

Eyeshield was so fucking good

Was this manga cancelled? Ended way too early. Was much better than I expected.

The author just said that's it maybe I'll continue it if I like it

Talent is something people who started too late made up to complain about.

I hope it'll continue, its surprisingly good.

Training is a habit, but its effectiveness can variate from person to person.

I can't believe the manga ended without Doggo's backstory. It's weird that of all people the MC remained an enigma till the end.

Man, his gold medal was long overdue. He should've gotten it like 8 years before that.

Talent < Effort

>Effort

effort < talent

Bear has both effort and talent, she's the greatest.
