Buyfag Thread
Before asking any questions, read the guide: buyfags.moe
I had a question but I'll just read the guide instead.
I didn't get into buyfagging to read anything, dammit. Wtf.
Best get back to watching dubbed animus then.
I hate those levitation poles or whatever they're called.
I'd have to agree. The figure doesn't match my preferences and it's probably super expensive anyways.
Support rod.
Very cute user
Useless honker.
Honkai really needs anime.
That would make /u/ implode.
Payment request for fat doggo, finally
Anyone got lucky here?
one user did a couple threads ago i think
That makes two of us then. I think many people won this time because the event in which the daki cover was supposed to be sold was cancelled. They basically sold the whole stock through lottery, instead of selling leftovers from the event.
Yeah I did and I still haven't found any way to get a japanese address that is not being refused by Manda.
Did you try Tenso? Seems to work fine for me.
I did, couldn't use it because it's recognized as a forwarder address.
Unless I'm fucking up and I'm not supposed to use it when creating a new account and it's supposed to work fine as a separate shipping address.
Did the website actually ask you an address when ordering? Or did you try to create an account with a forwarder's adress? Cuz' I'm pretty sure my Mandarake account is still setup on my old Japanse address but still asked a delivery address
I tried to setup a new account using the forwarder address. Should I try to make one using a bullshit japanese address instead?
Try away, you've got nothing to lose. I've checked my mails, Mandarake actually asks for your address when you buy the cover. I used my Tenso address, payment went through smoothly and it says "payment completed/processing order" on the order's page.
>raffle for having the right to buy something
Typical japs.
Well, guess I should give it a try then, thanks.
The artist actually makes a bunch of covers to be sold at a particular event. Whatever stock remains after the event is sold through the raffle. One advantage of the system is that sales won't be first come first served.
But yeah, still doesn't explain why said artist doesn't open pre-orders for selling stuff (like 90% other artists do).
At least it's not overpriced compared to regular daki covers.
Is it so hard for them to just take orders and then produce the quantity ordered? It’s just printing on some fabric.
Regular dakis are cheaper though, what are you talking about? all the ones I got just this year are 10-13ky.
13,500 is pretty standard.
You can get dakis secondhand or from distributors like dakimakuri and cuddly octopus for less than 10k yen easily. I've never bought a daki cover for more than 90 bucks.
No it's not. Most artists do that. But some of them just don't like money and won't dare take pre-orders.
not a fan of western nor chinese dakimakuras like those, doujin circle ones are 12-13ky and aftermarket they go for higher most of the time. Unless you want cheap official shit.
I would understand if a supply side constraint would drive up the price, but it literally only does that for aftermarket sales.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
the rest of my order for the month needs to decide if its gonna be delayed or not, i want her now
nips being nips
Anyone know a forward service that isn't blacklisted by Amiami.jp? Last time I tried to preorder an exclusive using 2you4's address, they canceled my preorder unexpectedly stating they would not ship to the address, and I missed out on the exclusive.
