Endings

Why do romcom/drama manga always reach the ending in the most bullshit way possible when all the mangaka have to do is think of a bit more rational scenario for it? Is it that hard to write your desired ending without turning it into a trainwreck?

>always
Read better series. Learn how to avoid hacks.

bokuben's ending isn't as bad as the other two, since everyone gets their own ending

When everyone is a winner, nobody is.

Trainwreck endings is very common in the manga industry user. I just want to discuss the core reasons behind it. No artists writes a story hoping to write a trainwreck ending. Also it's not like the series in the OP were axed.

why do you keep making these garbage threads

I bet toubun's author became lazy and decided to end the series early when he got all those money after anime boost

To have a discussion on the topic? I enjoyed all those series with their glorious trainwreck endings. It's always good to have a healthy discussion on why the mangaka failed to reach their desired conclusion in a decent way, especially in the daily shitposting, falseflagging and baiting threads.

>muh winner muh loser
such a braindead waifufag meta take.

It's still shit because it cheapens the significance of everything before the divergence point. People like to compare it to a VN, but a VN route requires choices throughout an entire game run, not a single moment where you pick a girl.

No matter how you look at it, it's a cope out user.

Because by then the mangaka is destroyed. Overworked, out of ideas, disheartened. There series is only ending because its popularity has dropped. They are probably ending it against their own wishes and given little time to wrap it up.

Not 22i though, he's just a hack.

Bokuben second worst after domekano

Geeeez

This

So what the objectives of waifu war, if everybody win

Moreover it's not Harem ending but route ending

The publishing companies own the stories. Once you realize this then everything makes much more sense.

no.
everyone should be doing this from the get go.
that's the only thing wrong he did.

Romcom best ending:

Yuuna >> 5-toubon >> Bokuben >>>>>>>>>>>> shit >>>>>>Domekano

Are you retarded? 5toubun was at the peak of its popularity. Negi could've stretched it out for another 100 chapters easily.
His wife was having a child though, and he was probably not motivated anymore so he ended the series.

He's an asshurt 1235fag

he wants waifuwars

>waifu war
I wish.
They don't interact with each other.
They don't even know they are rivals until the last 10-15 chapters

>authors should be makeing multiple half-assed endings that pander to waifufags and shipfags instead of one well constructed ending that fits the story it's attached to
Thank God you're not in charge of anything.

Bokuben never had a story
It was a sequence of chapters where the MC spends time with one girl at a time
The omnibus shit is completey fitting for that series

3/4 through the harem. The author have to mostly focus on one girl and build her up so the final decision actually make sense.

That's an external circumstance then. Exceptions abound but lack of popularity is the main reason a series ends.

Let's all be honest here, the only reason to read Domekano is for the art and the lewd.

Sensei will be the true end of Bokuben and it will be kino

>Yuuna
>Story about MC helping a ghost pass on
>Ends with MC marrying the ghost

Cope Haremfag

>Disregard the whole story
>t-t. Haremfag!

Why not just have only Sensei win and show her superiority over the other girls despite being a cake?
