Why do you do these storytimes using the colored version? It looks really ugly, I know a lot of people actually reading through these threads are newfags that joined after part 5 animated but atleast read the manga properly..
They actually don't, at least in comparison to the colored ones. Stone Ocean in particular looks poorer in comparison and SBR too if I remember correctly. Spreads especially look better in color since there's no white line running through it.

I'm well aware and I assure you I'd use those if they had the whole series covered. Colored scans are just more convenient in that sense.
I have to admit, the translucent look of the stands in Part 3 is pretty good. In the later parts it sometimes feels like Araki forgets what they're supposed to be and just draws them as costumed superheroes.
