10 million+ units has been the consistent sales numbers for the past few years with other series barely even scraping up to 6 million. Why the fuck would they need to be worried?

Rate of sales is much more important than sales itself

Every year one piece sells more then 10 million units of the manga while other series can barely reach that number. The rate if sales has always been high and the op has no evidence of it's sales dropping. Even if they did, 7 to 9 million is still better then what most other shonens are touching.

I know demon slayer beat it in 2019 do to the release of it's anime. But when both series are moving 10+ million there really isn't anything to worry about from a sales perspective.

Yes, Oda needs to introduce more powerful characters with even stronger haki into the series. Big Mom and Kaido have incredibly weak Haki, I've been saying this for a long time now.

Oh no, One Piece is going from outselling the 2nd through 9th best selling manga combined to just being one of the best selling manga of all time. Clearly Oda is doomed. Any series that ever dips down from the #1 spot is imminently going to be canceled, even if it's selling more in a month than most manga would dream of selling in their lifetime.

Yet one piece has been going for literally hundreds of chapters with those high sales, these sales are actually smaller then what they used to be back in 2010 - 2012 when marine ford hype began to calm down and the series settled in the 10 million range.

Shareholders only care about stocks going up, not about not starving to death, so even if sales are good, they'd want them to increase.

It's only outselling the others because of its 20 year old established fanbase. Those sales are expected, but when they're on a constant decline then there is definitely a problem.

It's not on a decline, it has spiked up to 12 million and dropped close to 9 million through out it's run since 2012. There is nothing wrong with stability when most long running series aren't even at half your numbers.
