Let's assume the cancelled promotional anime does come back (it won't) and adapts Toyotaro/Toriyama's canon story, how will Toei ruin it? Here's some givens:
>Being one of the goriest arcs, Toei will remove all of the blood and violence >The death scenes of every single character that died this arc, namely Seven-Three and the Super Namekian, will be removed or altered significantly >Added stupidity and inconsistencies >Terrible writing >Terrible art / animation
Okay, I've always been one to laugh at Vegeta for being a jobbing kneeling cuck, partly as a way of coping with the fact that I'm an actual Vegetafag but this is going too far. I'm staring to feel sorry for him for the first time since Freeza.
Reminder that Goku knew the technique that Vegeta was using and the only reason he didn't learn it is because it's useless except for this very situation.
Toei is incredibly adept in adapting anime, just look at the DB, DBZ and OP. So, they'll probably make it better than the manga and add more SoL parts to fill up the episodes..
He was unable to learn it, because he's not as talented as Vegeta. It's still retarded, because Goku should have went to Yardrat after the FT arc to learn it, considering that they just fought a fusion on whom this technique would have been pretty fucking useful.

By the way: what's the point of this arc if we know that everything is good since we all have seen the end of Z?
I think the idea is to contrast him with Goku, who will gladly fight stronger people. Vegeta prefers to be on top in a fight, and he wasn't at the time that line was said, so they assumed he had a reason for continuing to get back up.
