So, how would an isekai slice-of-life go if the old NEET was transported to a world more similar to the irl Middle Ages or the irl Middle Ages itself?nothing grim-dark or edgy though, talking about genuine medieval fun.
So...

Sauce please, cropped image of this page doesn't gave me a results after searching it through google, yandex, and saucenao.
People didn't have fun back then. The concept didn't exist.
Unless the NEET have life skills, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't survive a week.

It’s grim-dark guro and not very accurate to the Middle Ages, but the particular story is 169 and not so bad. Still, a fund read even if you don’t find it a good fap (guro isn’t really my thing, mainly read through it without fapping for the novelty of (albeit quite historically inaccurate) medieval inspired hentai)
I know you are joking, but if you look at primary sources then it’s very clear they did and had plenty of it.

They'd get stuck in some farm for the rest of their life because peasants don't really move from where they live very much.
Depends on where, when and what position he’s in. I don’t think he would do badly in 13th century Florence during the medieval warm period for example.
Being a troubadour or minnesinger in a city must be fun though, would like a series about that
kill myself because all isekai settings aside from LoTM's victorian-era supernatural are shit with terrible worldbuilding.
But what if it’s a good one with fantastic word building
give me the details first
and prove that it can rival at least half of LoTM's kino

even the currency section alone has better worldbuilding than literally every other isekai that exists
Closest thing to that level of world building are...games.
Why did my isekino thread earlier get pruned?
*taps glabella*
*becomes sequence 0 of the fool pathway*
*uses my ability to lower your IQ*
*controls your spirit threads*
*slaps you in the face with 9 gold loen pounds (they're slips of paper by the way, because gold is an utterly unrealistic central currency)*
*makes you kowtow to the fact that LoTM avoids all pitfall tropes of both CN, KR, and JP stories*

It’s kind of hard to go think of a fully fledged world impromptu with a massive amount of depth, but if I had to I would go for one based one that intertwining tradition of medieval romances and epics (which I explained in this autistic /his/ post desuarchive.org

this was the only "feel good" story in the whole tank
>irl Middle Ages

doesn't compute

Yes, the Middle Ages was an irl complex time period and wasn’t a time period like monty python and the black knight where everyone lived in constant shit. Welcome to history.

you'd just farm all the time and not even get op skills for it
Not everyone was either a noble or a peasant you know, cities existed. Peasants also had more free time than us, spent most of it in festivals.
Full on map of medieval Paris, since it was comfy
It's just done by info dumps after info dumps. Not really good example of good world building. Final result being dense and complicated =/= good
Were the medieval cities really that comfy? In all of historical works that I have read cities in that time period were more like charnelhouses because of high mortality from diseases and without neverending flow of fresh peasants from countryside they would diminish and disappear
Yes they were, what fucking historical works were you reading?
You should come here to Europe and visit towns from Middle Ages
I mean obviously they weren’t that comfy during the plague, but no where was and the Middle Ages wasn’t a constant time of plague nor did have plague anymore than any historical period.
Well, some works about how English burgers just loved to bury their refuse a few meters from their water or how in Hungar they had refuse heaps between town houses...
