some of the defaults blow dick (autoclose on video end is particularly dumb), but it plays shit well

used to use VLC, but I had a few problems with it
like keyframe dropping issues (things like pic related, but not quite as bad)
also, VLC doesn't loop anything properly, cutting off the start and end of every file played

the very last straw was when I was watching Smile Precure and it kept disabling the subs mid video
like, I'd have the subtitle select menu open, and I could see it getting reset while the video was playing for no apparent reason
shit was annoying as balls
