It's like people who go on boards and ask the entire board dumb questions like, "what's your opinion on X" or "what do we think about Y" or "when did Z stop being good?" They need validation from the hive in order to form their own opinion. It's part of why I gave up ever going to Zig Forums.

I've been reading since chapter 1 and its a blast. The design and page composition alone make it a visual treat pretty much every chapter, and the MC is so much different from the usual chump protagonists with their lofty goals. Give it a read, it's only about 74 chapters so far.

It's definitely true, if you have time to spend on an imageboard you have time to read a manga, watch an anime or OVA, etc and form your own opinion.
All I do when I want recommendations is I go to an anime catalog site and pull-up everything under a specific tag (action, sci-fi, etc) and sort by rating or date released.
That's all people need to do.
