That’s not Kino Collection or Burn the Witch.

I really enjoyed the first chapter. Here's to a good start at WSJ.

Moriking-sama's smug face is kinda hot.

That's not Undead Unluck. But first chapter was great.

I hope it lasts a while. I don't want it to get axed before I can buy a Megu-chan plush that calls me a lowly human when I squeeze it.

It said best, not in line for the ax

I just want her to be the villain of someone elses story. Like Magical Girls or super anime-esque teen girl paladins show up to smite the god of Chaos and his apostle.

Honestly I'm digging the pacing and general feeling, though we shall see, the first chapter doesn't say that much about the quality of a Manga and I can see how easly this might go to shit.

*God

Kek
How many chapters until onee-chan rides that?

Time Paradox Ghost Writer had a great first chapter too

All chapters of TPGW have the same problem of feeling like an extended one-shot and not a series. To the extent that I wouldn't be surprised if it was always meant to be a 1-2 volume thing (to be replaced by Burn the Witch, another miniseries)

This.such a limited premise

magu cute

This fucking panel is my favorite out of all the 2020 series, I just love it and can't stop laughing at it for some reason.

i keep seeing the fold under the eye as an " :| " mouth and it's driving me nuts

Stop. You're going to jinx it and make it seem the first chapter was a fluke or it'll get axed. I already love Magu-chan and Ruru too much.

It was a very good chapter 1.
The strongest of any manga since Chainsaw Man a little over a year ago.

seemed a tad bit generic, but managed to be fun
it has a chance

You are not wrong. It's comfy. I expect it to be the next Neverland.

you expect it to become shit?

It was popular, shit or not is subjective.

I'll be honest, it was surprisingly good.
If the Beelzebub author doesn't do an amazing job he's seriously risking another Hungry Mary, this round of new series is quite decent and so far nothing is 100% axe material.
The only series that are risking are Mitama because it's too niche and Ghostwriter because nips hated it and the pace was just stupid, you don't want to spend the first 6 chapters just to set up the plot, everyone is already either pissed or bored and it's a pity because the time paradox aspect had potential.
And the robot serie we are getting in a couple of weeks smell like axe but so did Megu.

Magu is fun to bully.

We find out the truth this Wednesday.

The premise is nowhere limited. We still have no idea why the Time machine is sending WSJ back in time, how and who's behind it.
The point it that instead of developing it as a mystery story author - kun selfinserted in the MC with the stupidest and most boring takes. Not only we got cucked out of mystery and what could have been something closer to SteinsGate, we also got 6 chapter of what could have been drama, but it was actually nothing.
Almost nothing happened in a whole fucking volume and that's just depressing.

>so far nothing is 100% axe material.
Bone Collection

That one turned into a pretty good gag manga.
Although that piss poor chapter 1 might have sunk it.

It's not the greatest but it can find its own niche and survive for a while.
Paira design is good and her tsun antics are funny and not too heavy. Fights are decent and every new bone giving a somewhat new design to the MC help keeping the things fresh. I doubt it will ever get big, but it's not blatantlt bad or mediocre, is has surviving potential, like Spring weapon.
Also i thought it would be more on the ecchi side, but the genderbent ninja is a way too strong competitor, although I'm not sure how suited it is for WSJ
