Science Fantasy adventure about a group of losers with colorful backstories who all ended up in a shithole world at the edge of civilized space.
They start working for a criminal faction before getting doublecrossed and forced to steal a skyship from the guild to escape. They then travel between worlds and have adventures while trying escape criminal gangs and government forces and barely making enough money to stay alive. Setting is like Kill Six Billion Demons with bits from Treasure Planet.

Do premises that exist as part of an existing series count? If so...

Three Yakuza members fuck up tremendously and the boss decides that they will atone for their mistakes by forcing them get a sex change and become idols to make money for the clan, the alternative being death.
The premise has already been done by an awful comedy anime called gokudolls, but this one is not shit.
Instead of being gag comedy garbage, it’s a relatively grounded seinen about the psychological, physical and social struggles of the gender bent MCs that never had even the slightest hint of gender dysphoria, and their quest for revenge against the rival Yakuzas that are responsible for their fuckup, using their new bodies and position as idols to do what they couldn’t have done as regular gangsters. It has twists, betrayals, violence and shit like that. At least one of them kills himself in the final arc because the pain of having lost his real body and identity is unbearable.

Two MCs: one male, one female, both college age. Male MC joined a street gang after graduating high school and has made a name for himself as one of their top fighters in the inevitable turf wars that take place. Female MC is a kinkster who dresses up in heavy rubber and does perverted things every night that are later posted on the dark web. The two MCs are boyfriend and girlfriend, but are completely unaware of each other's street lives.

One day, two members from each group post encrypted files to a "dead drop" drive - a free-use USB drive embedded in a building or whatnot - for either MC to collect. The file the male MC is tasked with collecting is a message regarding a large-scale attacked by his gang's biggest rivals, while the file the female MC is tasked with collecting is the newest video to be distributed. However, due to the similar file names, each MC ends up taking the wrong file.

The male MC and his gang are shocked to see the video they got instead of their message, and end up getting jumped by the rival gang they should've been warned about. The female MC, meanwhile, figures out a fight is going down and rushes over in an attempt to stop it. Upon her arrival, she learns the truth about what her boyfriend does every night...

Sounds fun, if not a little distressing. Kind of like an anime ARG, which there aren't enough of. I'd watch it.

Marijuana lets mages control senses, gaining clairvoyance and scrying powers; cocaine lets mages control and manipulate time around themselves, LSD and other hallucinogens give the mage the power to form intense illusions and induce insanity and psychosis in foes, etc.

With this knowledge, he sets out to become the most powerful mage imaginable. By sourcing raw materials and creating the most pure and perfect collection of drugs to empower himself he aims to forge a new empire in his own image.
