Maidragon S2, Phantom world S2, Hibike S3 and Electric Boogalo S1 when? The fire was like a year ago they should get over it already and start making anime again.
Maidragon S2, Phantom world S2, Hibike S3 and Electric Boogalo S1 when...
They need to release Violet Evergarden the Movie first to fully resurrect.
Losing 36 people, and possibly more to long term injuries, when you only had around 200 people at the time, and a lot of them being the driving force to some of these shows coming out, causes a lot of problems. It isn't a problem of "getting over it", it's more of a problem of an already overworked studio losing a ton of people, thus making the current crew even more overworked. It's sad to say, but the seasons when they start releasing shows they were working on, won't be as high quality as the seasons before them.
>Maidragon S2, Phantom world S2, Hibike S3 and Electric Boogalo S1 when?
After VEG season 2 is out. Fuck your moeshit.
Covid-19
World economic recession
Poor them
No need to reply to an obvious edge bait post in such a serious manner.
Probably a troll thread, but half of them are dead, and the other half are injured as fuck.
They just arrested the perpetrator a couple of weeks ago. That's how bad *he* got fucked up. Now imagine how the actual victims are doing.
We're talking amputated limbs, muscles that no longer work, severe disfigurement, lifelong pain, and 'Nam levels of PTSD.
It'll probably be a few more years, if at all.
Don't you know that having empathy for other people isn't allowed here? You aren't cool unless you're laughing at arson victims
Is anybody else still just kind of weirded out about the fire? It's random as hell. I still kind of can't believe it actually happened.
It feels like the sort of shit that would actually happen IN an anime, not the sort of thing that would actually happen in real life.
It's not that bad, they still have 100+ unaffected employees and 27 of the 33 injured already returned to work.
Same. I'm a huge Haruhi autist and it feels surreal knowing that so many people behind that show were burned alive because some nutcase randomly got it in his head that they stole his novel. It's the kind of crazy thing that could only happen in Japan. At least in the west our terrorist attacks usually have far-reaching political motives. This guy was really just out for petty revenge over some bullshit he dreamed up. It's insane, like Mark David Chapman shooting John Lennon insane, but to the tune of 36 people dying.
I think they had some of the best animation in the industry these days even though I never cared for most of their shows. I liked VEG, Hibike, K-On, and Haruhi, though, and I was looking forward to season three of Hibike. The fire hit me like a ton of bricks. I honestly don't see how they can move forward after this, especially considering the crazy overreaction to the virus and the economic collapse that's sure to follow worldwide. I'm glad I at least got to see the Hibike film in a theater last summer. One last chance to enjoy some KyoAni stuff before they got totally destroyed.
I know I'm still upset
fuck dude
You know more than half the staff for those shows turned into ashes, right?
Hyouka season 2 please
Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo
You're getting Dragon Maid S2 by JC Staff and it'll be better because of that
i feel that way about a lot of things, especially human interactions
I would debate this but they did an awesome job with Little Busters so there's some truth to that.
I don't know how popular this opinion would be but I imagine if it had the same death toll but the attack happened to a different studio like DEEN or Liden, people (especially Westerners) wouldn't even care.
after amaburi S2
I don't think so. It wouldn't be as big but it would certainly make waves. Also Zig Forumsssholes would shit on the tragedy with the same passion and malice.
>wouldn't even care
It'd definitely have made a shitstorm when it happened either way, but it wouldn't come up as much a year later. It comes up so much because we have a bunch of KyoAni threads anyway and you can no longer have one without this involved.
Ok, LNfags spoil me. Did Latifa becomes a love interest for Seiya?
Some of us have felt that way for the last four years.
I was talking more about the Westernfag fanbase, like the ANN crowd. I imagine someone could torch Liden today and ANN wouldn't even bat an eye after a few days and wouldn't make Liden Films tributes like they did with KyoAni.
>they should get over it already
That kind of tragedy could have ended them right way
Cringe
but then it'd turn out like One Punch Man and I'd actually want to kill myself
arson, sounds like a bumming is afoot
>November
I keep wondering if delays also mean that olympics animation gig.
Incels and schizos need to be round up in camps to prevent this kind of thing from happening again.
I know, but after 14 years of using this site it's starting to get cancerous now that all the normalfags on faux news are doing it too.
