I made a mistake of learning Kanji first. I know about 300 kanjis and I could barely understand a sentence. Man, I don't know why I'm struggling so much with Japanese grammar. It's fucking hard to wrap my mind around "apple Mikoto good day ate" sentence structure.

What the fuck is that sentence supposed to be? Also how are you learning kanji? Doing Anki+RTK should be enough to learn the 2136 kanji in 3 months while spending less than an hour on it everyday. For grammar, read Tae Kim, Genki, Imabi, Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar, or whatever you like as long as it's good.
