Davyback fights are great, but only in the manga. The anime stretched it out for no good reason, and we didn't need to see another one with Foxxy.

It wouldn't make sense user. Luffy hates Blackbeards guts. Shanks has no need for more crewmates and I can't see Luffy being the one to propose it.

Kaido hasn't shown any sense of honour as a pirate. Sure he apologised about the old women distracting Oden in their fight, but he didn't pull a Kata and level the playing field. Maybe Big Mom might have, and I could see Whitebeard accepting the terms. But Kaido? No, I don't think he honour the terms.

It looks like he basically holed himself up in Wano when he took it over, so his defeats and poor battle record basically makes sense if it all happened when he was a relative rookie. His whole focus on forcing people to join his crew through coercion and threats makes more sense honestly if Kaido's had a in-and-out record of defeats. Other things that are likely, or some combination

I mean, almost every weird thing that couldn't directly be explained through sheer personal strength or DF related has been pretty solidly unified with Haki, given that it's even more explict with the previous and current arc that it can be trained and certain groups have their own societal specializations (Mantra, the Amazons, Royu, ect). I think the only entirely inexplicable thing we've seen so far pre-timeskip that can't be explained through haki of some kind is Goldenweek's paint powers, unless that ends up being some hilarious display of what CoC can actually do if it's actually related to emotion manipulation.

He's not Yonko tier, he's in a spot where he can defeat Yonkou commanders with effort, but can't win against Yonkou.
