Really just pros and cons to anything posted. Have vetted these for one reason and another, but if anyone has details on anything in particular posted, it'd be appreciated.

There all excellent companies well situated in their respective regions, operating profitable mines or exploring with solid plans for the future. The only company I didnt recognize is Euro Sun Mining operating in Romania, I really need to look at the non North American projects more often. Pretium and Skeena are my favorites out of the bunch as there in my old stomping grounds of the Golden Triangle, I ve been reading really good things on McEwen Mining as well in recent threads and online.
Tell us a campfire story, panman. Tell us something hopeful and true.

I ve been reading a lot since the weathers been poor and been working on a theory as to where the "Lost Lemon Mine" is located. I think I ve got it down to a 2km area where it must be. Only issue is I am no where near it right now, that will have to be a next season trip.

Yeah, I'm just getting impatient and keep shuffling over my positions for the real money makers. Better yet, a spooky story. In the summer I was up in Watson Lake along the BC and Yukon border for wildfire work, I heard a cougar scream. Sounds just like a young lady being butchered. Scariest shit I've heard in my life. I'm sure Panman has more than one tale from beyond wander.
I have many ghost stories from the old mining towns of BC and the Yukon, and yes holy shit do Cougar calls sound horrible, you hit that nail on the head. One of the oddest and most troubling events of my wanderings near Barkerville was last year. I was wandering around near the headwaters of summit Creek, looking for old workings following some maps from the 1870s, when I heard a blood curdling scream, and someone call for help. I imediatly had my gun out and running towards the screams thinking someone was being mauled by a bear or something, but when I got near the screams, they suddenly started coming from somewhere behind me. I looked around that area for hours calling out for anyone to answer. No response. I even had a group of guys help me from the Thistle pit come help look, we found no sign of a struggle or anything. No missing people either.

> Throughout my life, I’ve tried different types of exercise. I spent 12 years doing full-contact MMA fighting, including competing in tournaments and spending 10+ hours a week in hardcore training. In college, I started going to the gym a lot, with a focus on powerlifting and compound exercises. I could do 80 push-ups, 20 pull-ups, bench press 1.5x my bodyweight, and deadlift over 2x my bodyweight.
So this bitch is a tranny right? She's gotta be. She's said some smart things about the USD and finance, and she writes a lot, but I need to know, is it a tranny or what? It's too damn distracting not to know.
You guys have posted links to her shit in the past regarding USD and commodities but... shit many I don't know.
What kind of gun do you carry, panman? I just got a ruger pcc and 10 glockazines as a pdw/truck gun.

My favorites my 45-70 pack gun. Heavy but deadly accurate.

I've been shooting my dad's 30-06 for a while, but I think I might get a bush rifle in the caliber for myself. Got my eyes on a tikka in granny's guns down the way, but do you have any suggestions?
Christopher Jenkins
a 30-06 is a perfectly good bush gun but there are dozens of options out there. A short barrel 12 gauge is never a bad option either. might ask the guys over at /k/ for more advice on that. I would post my own gun but its currently stashed nicely behind my seat in my truck. This is what I have but with wood furniture and a wide loop for cold weather.
anyone know of weimar stories where gold saved the day for a family or person? I bet most anecdotes would be written in german and not known to english readers
Gotcha, gotcha. Yeah, my thinking was along the same lines desu. I would get a 45-70, but I'm trying to stick to three calibers, maybe 4 if I get wind up with an AR at some point, and 45-70 just isn't one of them. I might look around for one of these things in 30-06 if I can find it, I really like the locking mechanism on it.
I have a few stories from the depression era in the gold fields but nothing from weimar germany. I know there are a few books on the subject but yes there mostly in german.
