Sauce on second right and fourth right?

This chart has always been FUCKING stupid, great villainy is all about execution not how much tryhard edgy CRAAAAAAAAWLING IN MY SKIN emo faggot teenagers can relate to the villain.

What make Yoshikage interesting is that he is both the Bloody Knight type and the Professional.

Which ever one is written well, since archetypes don't guarantee quality.

Villains are beings rejected by society for stuff they not even chosed on the first place.

Anti-Villains or Bloody Knights. I like my villains to be either borderline good guys, or pure evil. Fence-sitting goes out the window in actual war, you’re either a good or a bad guy.

What would Shilapouf be? The greatest villain in HXH.

I like how they made him an actual child molestor in the movie in a heavy handed attempt to make people dislike him.

Use the correct chart.

god tier taste right there, every other opinion is instantly discarded

The shit the Ageha twinks said at the end of the original show was basically shit that people only say when they're molested, but the Hotpocket movie cemented it.

it's been a while since I've rewatched it, but I know I've watched the series at least 4 times through, I don't recall a scene like that?

>the villain's motives don't matter
Are you retarded?

They kinda do. Some archetypes come with layered, rounded villains while others just have them be flat characters.

He didn't say this

Based truck-kun.

At least he isn't illiterate like you.

Fourth right is Claymore.

They kind of don’t, there are plenty of charming one note villains that’re better than some other villans with convoluted backstories and it’s ultimately up to execution

>chart is about different villains and their different motivations
>durr hurr this is for emo faggot teens who want to relate to the villain. It's all about the EXECUTION! (word that could mean literally anything)
So, what's the problem? Why are you defending this retard, exactly?

There are but it takes a lot more skill to execute a character like Mereum compared to Cell. They may not be as entertaining but multi-dimensional villains have more thought and effort put into them so they come out on top as better written, higher quality characters instead of charming one note villains designed to serve a singular simple purpose. One archetype is thought provoking while the other is just meant to keep you entertained.

Black clover is good example for shittiest villain/antagonist writing

> die die die die die die die die die.

2nd right
nisemonogatari

Was he some elder god tier villain? No, not really. He was an insane madman, determined to lash out against God for the death of someone important to him. But in a series full of people suffering, only he and Iskander seemed to be having fun. Not really a type, but my favorite villain.
