I fucking love that shit. I'm not a big fan of battle shonens in general and spend most of my time watching other things. But damn, there's nothing like a really fun and exciting fight in a battle shonen after spending a lot of time watching the characters train and grow. People shouldn't get stuck on it and never watch anything else, and neither should anyone ignore them completely. Unfortunately I feel like I've watched most of the really good ones already and I'm starting to get the urge again.

Well if stuff like OP, HxH and FMA weren't better than the vast majority of adult fiction, people would stop reading shounen but they are. Being edgy doesn't make anything more impressive writing wise and any age can enjoy fantasy stories.
