If it weren't for the anime, Dragon Ball Super wouldn't be the sucess it is today. Look at the end of the tournament of power per exemple, the manga was boring as fuck while the anime united people of all countries to watch the episode together. It's almost incomparable.

I remember the hype when they announced the new series, I remember going with my father, my mother, my father's girlfriend, my big bro, my bigger bro, my sis, my little sister and her twins to the plaza to see the final episode of the series while eating some nasty rico rico tacos con jalapeños, I even stole three copies of the last bluray (two for me, one for my almost-girlfriend) and I've got a friend who sells very good counterfeit of the coolest Heroes cards (like SSJGSSJBKKx20 Goku, SSJGSSJBE Vegeta or Super Ultra Full Power Jiren no contenido) and he told me he's constantly making a lot of money with those.
What went wrong? Just what happened?
