No actual evidence, it's basically just people theorising that kind of thing because of Marcille apparent childhood trauma of things dying before her + what her mom said to her about elves running at a different pace than other people + the fact that her dad apparently died when she was very young, even if we don't know how.

As things are, its not much more than people just trying to connect fairly sparse dots because Marcilles past is generally just kind of mysterious and she dodges questions about her age and her upbringing before the academy.

There's been no confirmation one way or the other in regards to 'half' things, the only thing thats said about it in the manga is Chilchack saying something about the discrimination halflings have to go through because a lot of people think that their whole race is a human/gnome mix or something.

I think trying to make Meshi strictly follow the rules of other fantasy IP's when nothing official has been said about it is kind of pointless.

After reading up about the Ninja class in Wizardry, I realized that Izutsumi's recruitment resembles the few methods of getting a ninja in a good party. Ninjas are an evil exclusive class and they can't join a good aligned party except in a dungeon (context is being rescued). While Ninja's must start evil, their alignment can change thus allowing for a ninja in a good party.

Nobody is "trying to make", we are not the ones writing it. We however collect evidence and hints, and the fact that after nearly 70 chapters not once was a half-elf mentioned or the mere concept, and that this might be inspired by wizardry, is such things.

Also this is some stupid meta trolling thread, shame on you, OP, dungeon meshi deserves better.
